Default TT Nismo first run

well, i took my car to the local strip just to see. I'm not really that into drag racing, but it is fun from time to time.

2007 Nismo #0443
GTM Stage 2 Twins, 3"DP with open dumps
pump gas
OS giken twin disc
OEM Bridgestones/wheels

1.12 RT
2.09 60'
5.6 330'
8.3 1/8 @ 90.35
12.546 @ 115.72

Don't have the precise ambients from that night, it was about 85 out, with a good deal of humidity. being a helo pilot, i live by density altitude every day, i'd say that night at the track was in the 1600-2000 DA range.

overall, i was pretty pleased with my very first run on boost (and only my 5th run ever). i know, R/T is weak, 60' definitely needs work...it was a really soft launch, and i just went deeper into the throttle as the run progressed. not really going to work a lot at improving in this area as road courses are what i'm more in to, but i have definitely learned there is so, so much more to a quick time than a quick car. thanks

that is a good time considering he is running on stock tires. What boost level/whp was this at?

Very respectable 60ft and times for that power on stock tires

With grip 120+mph traps easy...

If you cant hook up and you cant apply power what good is it? If he shifted fast on 1-2 and prolly 2-3 he would go sideways, its a given he was shifting slow...no offense OP

You did good for a non-drag racer. This car will have plenty of punch on a road course.
