Default UPDATED went to the track again! what do u think

new results
08 base model, injen dual cai, test pipes and motordyne y-pipe no tune.
track prep was alright but could have been better.
clutch wasnt having any of it

clutch fluid lol, its been like that for a while now not just after the track day.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

so i just came back from the track , a test and tune was being held here in florida at bradenton motorsports park this morning from 9am till 2pm.
i ran like **** running 13.6s the whole time so i let my friend drive my car. ill post the slip later but here it is typed up

r/t ------.330
60' ------1.984
330------5.574
1/8-------8.545
mph----- 82.65
1000-----11.078
1/4 ------13.228
mph -----103.68

DA of 1650ft
Relative density 95.26% , according to the DA calculator on drag times . com

car is an 08 base Z
mods are injen long tube CAI, AAM test pipes and the motordyne xyz pipe with resonator without a tune. tires 275/40/18 nitto 555 extremebullsh!ts
i think with this set up on a cool day high 12s are possible, cant wait for DRs,tune and work on that driver mod haha

when i was stock i ran a best of
r/t : 1.025
60 : 2.226
330: 5.908
1/8: 8.896
mph: 82.88
1000: 11.443
1/4: 13.583
mph: 105.59

Excellent time but it would be better if you drove your car.

Solid time, but the track time might have been better served with you in the seat getting more experience.

just tried the DA calculator on drag times. com, and showed me a corrected time of
12.984 @ 105.671, how accurate are these things?
my friend was pretty confident he could get the car to 12.80s as the car stands right now, DRs and a tune coming soon, along with cooler temps in the fall

I was drag racing one day and running 13.8 seconds. Made friends with a motorcycle racer, and gave him my keys. He gets in my car a runs 13.6 seconds. Go figure.

Yeah we are going to get that car into high the 12's i got a 13.3 at 102 out of a stock DE so its def possible, i need a lil bit a seat time in your car since the Hr is a lil bit different than mine; I think i can get away with launching it at 4600 on street tires. Launching at that rpm is bad news bears on the DE

They are fairly accurate that why I take it personally when I cant get the those times lol. Im a perfectionist when it comes to track times.

Adding DR's disqualifies you form being stock. Even so, that time puts you ahead of some of the best "stock" times by around .4, not impossible but hard to believe I havent seen it. Tires on an NA Z > NA mods down the 1320

Post the slip or the breakdown of it...
