I am sorry if I missed it, but can you please point me to the thread where an 3.5L HR has run 12's with bolt-ons? Oh was the HR auto as well?

Edit: So I just checked, and see that only "Gooey" was able to crack 12's.. and that was with DR's... Is this the only reference you speak of?

Yep. And he hardly had any mods. Give it time, let people get to the track, it will happen more like the 370z finally got one car into the 12s.

DRs throw you into a different classification for 'records' or whatever. so if he's the only one, then no. no HR has beat 13.00 on street tires/stock tires.

but I wouldn't consider gears a light mod either. or maybe it is. either way, awesome to hear the 370 ain't no slouch.

I guess you are right........technically the 21st was the last day of summer. I can't wait for nominal or even negative DA's to hit the Mid-Atlantic.

Shows at least 24 HR's that have hit the track and only one (just barely, with DR's) broke into the 12's.. care to elaborate as to how that is? I am sure these are not the only HR's to run across NA.

Why haven't you broke into 12's yet? I am sure with your mods, it would be easy..

Accept change, much?

Edit: Also noticed you are putting out more WHP.. so you should be well into the 12's, right?

If you want to get technical DE>HR with bolt-ons since one bolt-on DE went faster than Gooey................yet you don't see people deeming the DE as baby jesus's motor of choice (unlike the HR). .

P.S. The HR is a superior engine and I don't want to start a holy war over a topic that is beat to death. Just saying .

This.

the only HR to break 12's was on drag radials with gears if I am not mistaken... DR's are whole different ball game... the fact that an auto with bolt ons and gears running street tires ran this time is very impressive.. especially the trap speed...

Maybe I should just go down to San Antonio and race my DE against SOLO-350Z. He can run on his street tires and I'll bring the ET Streets. Once I beat him, and I will, I'll claim the DEs the king of all VQ engines and of course that'll also mean that DE > HR > VHR. BTW, I have less mods and even less power on my DE (N/A form) than he does in his HR.

BTW, I've never lost to another N/A Z (vs me w/o nitrous). Does that make my DE (and the rest of the DEs in the world) faster than other Z33s? No. Get over it, solo, we're all getting tired of your "HR is faster" mentality.

The fact is that 370Zs on average will be faster than HR 350Zs which are faster on average than DE 350Zs, given that they're raced by equally skilled drivers in the same exact condition.

I covered the bases in his 19 page denial in the 370z section.......made almost the exact same points . I'm all over it Chris.

Sorry maybe you guys have issues. When I said MY car hasn't been beaten, what is the problem here? I never ever said the HR was faster than any 370z, I said MY car is faster and has never been beaten by them. Why is that so hard to comprehend? Maybe you folks need to get over it. Wow the maturity level here is just sad.

I give up......................... I am starting to wonder if there were actually any 370's there when he raced .

I just can't believe he found 2 (apparently) no driving fools worse than him is astonishing .
