I did not hear about the accord running 13.5, could you kindly post a link to the source?
I am also surprised that you know of this small town track, considering you are from KS.

An average driver or a crappy one like most wont run spectacular times anywhere. You give too much credit to the tracks IMO.

Tons of C6Z06's have been run at Cecil County - a fast track in MD, only one Ranger who has hit 10's stock....based on your reasoning more should have already done this.

Still, 13.8 out of a 03 G sedan is spectacular.. Lets see stock DE non revup Z's pull those times.. Not to mention shorter wheelbase and lighter overall for the Z

Remember that the '03 G35 Sedans were the lightest of any G35 model. There have been multiple '03-04 G35 coupes that ran 14.0 stock. A 13.8 is a great time...but it's believable with a good driver behind the wheel.

How can you say this isnt the norm? I bet you that at any of the 2 quick tracks in MD these numbers could be replicated. Without seeing 20, 30, or 40+ 370 times and their respective mods to figure out a norm your comment is incorrect. You say 9/10 wont do this? Ok now back it up with 10 other simialiarly mod'd autos and prove yourself.

I think that gears in an auto that can hook decent will always pull times like this, the traps will vary some.
This months Car and Driver claims a 13.1 for a 7AT 370. They also claim that the 7AT is faster in the 1/4 than the 6MT. If a magazine can get 13.1 out of a 370 7AT(stock) then someone on here can do a 12 stock.

I just saw the posting of my 370 on the 350z forum. Thank you for all the nice comments. It just missed going 12.7's by .0009. Some body said that the track i ran on was a quick track. Let me tell you it is not a fast track. If i would have gone to Toronto Motor Sport (Cauaga) or Grand Bend it would have been at least a 10th faster. This is a slow track. I have pictures posted on the 370 z drag section under 12.8 @ 110.
Yes gas mileage took a hit 7.6 to 8.9 L/100 km. Traction is not good at that track.
For next year i just got my stillen headers. NRT pulley and i played with the tunning ( cobb) with help from Denny Mccalain. I bumped the timing and leaned it out. It now turns 8100 rpm and it screams . Totally different running car. Much faster. I took 2 nissan tecks for a little test drive (the car is very loud compared to a stock 370.) They could not belive it, how fast it gets to 100km and the sound the intake, cats, and exhaust make.
I have 305/35/18 MickeyThomspons ET drag radial 11 on order with Volk T37 18 x 10.5 rims. For the 12.800 pass my car dynoed at 291 rwhp. ( bad day at the dyno it should have made 308 to 310, something was went wrong that day).
12.6's here we come, or lower.
For the 350 guys. All the parts are here for 2003 z. GTM 4.2 stroker 850wolf ttbb Speed force racing built 5 AT. and Jerremy Tibbs custom turbo 400. At the track late next year.
A few boys in there mustang GT decided to see how quick the 370z it is on the street.
they all wish that they would have bought a Nissan with a 7 speed automatic.
I consider the 4.08 to be bolt on's as i just changed the entire diferenial.
Sam at GTM is working on Valve body shift kit and a torque converter for next year. he also want me to have the first GTM supercharged 370 Z in Canada, ( 11.7's here we come )!

Good to hear first hand from the driver. Impressive driving BTW. One simple request. Post time slip here: https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840...ons-stock.html
