It doesn't make sense that I can pull 1.8's on those sticky tires if the clutch were slipping (I don't think). I am going to have the DR's remounted tomorrow with some sticky stuff lining the beads. I will be there tomorrow night. If it does it again......I will probably watch for a bit and head home. It is going to be CRAZY crowded there. It was last week. I will also mark the wheels/tires and see what the story is. It looks like by 9-10pm the DA's could be as low as -1000......that type of weather is just to good to pass up.

Well I almost did I ran 13.49@104 with a 1.95 60' then a 13.5@103 with a 2.01 60'. I actually spun off the line both of my runs. The first run one of my tires was at 21psi and the other at 15psi. Then I made sure both was at 15psi but by the time my second run came around it was way to cold for traction.

13.24 at 106.98.............then my issues arose once again and put a hold on any attempt at 12's. I had the speed tonight.....it was actually tooooo cold and traction was an issue for everyone. Except the black bolt-on G, which was the first street tire G/Z I have seen to not break.....but explode an axle.

^ufff not good for the G. With that trap you should be well in the mid 12's so don't lose hope. It should be easier for you since u have that extra 2 mphs . Im supposed to be in the 12 with my trap, Im going to keep trying till i get it lol. What did it do this time? free revving in gear again? Btw 13.24 is not bad at all!

Nice time what was your 60ft? I wish I didn't have to work so I can get out to the track. I wonder if that black G is the one from JE imports with the N/A 4.15 engine.

AJ did you run your girl's car?

When is the season over?

When is the season over?
The G had the basic bolt-ons. I've raced him on the "local track" before and beat him bad. He was in the 14's all night.

I was supposed to race it tonight but she had to work and I didnt have anybody else to bring it down for me. Hopefully it will make it to MIR tomorrow if not then we'll hit cecil one day. I just want one clean pass before all the tracks close.

Yeah, same as before. I got the dr's remounted with more bead sealant than I have ever seen and it held fine for 2 passes. Traction was a real problem.....it was COLD. The 13.24 was with something like a 1.99. I was pulling 1.87-1.90 last week, but it just wasn't happening. I also ran my highest 1/8mph at 83.9x.
