Car is finally coming together after years of frustration. The event was last night and will attach video and time slip later. The car has an Injected Performance stroker motor and a local custom twin 62s setup. The part that made it all work- a Tilton clutch from Injected!

did you have to machine an adapter for that nissan driveshaft to fit that rear end?
is this strictly a drag car? if not how does the straight axle affect handling on the car?

Not to be a smart ***, but you sell your Nissan drive shaft and have the DSS make you a new one! You have already spent $5000 plus so a new drive shaft is the way to go.
My car is taged and licensed but I wouldn't want to drive it to the local 7/11. I quess the correct answer would be that it's a drag car.

ah, well that was my second option but i figured there could maybe be a simpler adapter to connect it instead of needing a full custom drive shaft. I guess that's the price to pay for traction.

Yes , people were surprised to finally see it go down the track. There were 14 cars in the import class and it came down to the Supra I had mentioned to you and us! The Supra ran a 6.76 to the Z's 6.47. The three best times we had were the 6.36, 6.47, & the qualifying 6.55 time(ran the Supra that time too which I believe is one of the videos that will be posted). Scott did all the driving this time - I'm still trying to fiqure out how to start the SOB! Scott and I trying to come up with a time for you to help us with the Q16 tune. We had trouble with it and switched it back to C16.
Alberto:Thanks for the comment: Mustang Dyno (similiar to Dyno Dynamics)
665 hp/ 615 torque.
Z1 Performance: Thanks Adam! We used to talk in 03 when we were both NA! Should have listened to you and stayed there!!!

Amazing numbers. Keep up the good work and thanks for representing the Zs at the drag strip.
that is SICK. Even all those monster HP z's out there aren't putting it to the ground like you are. Much respect.
what's up with that guy in the supra? why is he just sitting on the rev limiter when doing a burnout? sounds like the supra missed a shift in that video also.

Awesome video - both cars sound amazing. And the picture... is that light I see under the front tire - why yes it iis. Drool.
Mike, I am ready to help w/ Q16 (and turning it up!) whenever you are
Scott, great job seeing this thing through the gremlins (and that is an understatement!). Two thumbs up.
