Mid-A Drag Thread
Post your slip up in the top25 thread and I'll update.
When are you going to get the new clutch in?

It was probably you just being a sissy.
I pulled a 1.7 with a dying stage 1 clutch with a 100 shot of nitrous. I'm sure you could've done better than a 1.9. I expect nothing short of 12.8 from you the next time you get out there after you install your new clutch. BTW, my new clutch (ACT) is now in as of yesterday and I can't wait to get out to the drag strip to get that 12.0 I missed out on last time.
Wow, 3 PBs coming from 1 single track day. The DA must've been some ridiculous negative number.
I may have to come visit you guys some day at your drag strip.
Congrats to all, btw. Very impressive numbers all around.

. Bone stock HR with about 100ish pounds out of it this time. Hopefully there will be some vids here soon.
DA was -1000'ish.
I'll have a new clutch in for Opening Day

At first there track was VERY slick, but there was a period about 1-230 where enough rubber had built up that traction wasn't terrible. I think you would have probably set a new pb c5....what was the DA when you went 2 weeks ago?

Some haters are saying Cecil county dragway is sloped DOWNWARDS. I do admit cecil traps a mile over what MIR traps not too significantly different at all but it's a reputable track in the Midwest and east coast for that matter.

I got several videos of where There's bolts on tuned Mustang GTs trapping 104-105 and bolts on C5 vettes trapping 110 mph I wonder why it's not "DOWNSLOPE" for them and just for us VQs
When people hate that's when you know you're doing the right thing. Keep it up fellas i'm going to see you in Spring were gonna try to get a lot more VQ owners to increase the competition. You guys obviously don't want to be competing against my shitty 60 foots
2.1 is pathetic lol i'm going to bring you some guys that will put down 1.9 60 foots give you more of a competition

When I did the google map is was like 5ft lower at the end, but I mean, come on, that's is negligible. I trapped roughly the same at Capital. It is a "fast" track.

its a fast track no doubt....but that downhill argument is B.S......many people say MIR is actually the place to go for amazing ET's.... I like Cecil because there are no B.S crap cars running there, and the track prep was good...
also franky 110 mph for bolt on vettes is actually low... stock vettes trap 108-110mph...I have seen this many times... so dont let that fool you, my particular vette is not tuned hence the low trap..
Edit: best way to solve this is call those haters out.. let them run you at Cecil and remove this phantom variable from the equation..... running heads up at the same track should shut people up...

Hmm how did you google map it, I want to see the link. 5 feet is not significant but yeah the thing is that you sure that 5 feet is'nt towards the booth where you get your slip? because it dips towards the booth, i don't think it should dip towards the end of the track that you actually get timed on?
