Buddy owned an E46 M3 last night at the strip. Pulled on him once he shifted into second and never looked back. Buddy ran a 12.9 (08 350 6spd) on street tires, Nismo dual intake, Test pipes and greddy exhaust. Next mod will be COBB AccessPort!!
Maybe!!!!!!! I am helping him add parts and tune it (when the COBB tuner comes in) Ive got a TL and well dont take it to the strip considering its my daily and I am saving for a 370, so I have to
The COBB allows me to use the preloaded maps and data logging, and I can get a hold of one for anywhere from 300 to 350. Not only can I use the preloaded maps, but I can download COBB's software and modify the fuel map, timing and all the other parameters that I want that most tuners use.
That way we can keep all the info and not have to go the tuning garage everytime we want to make changes.
12.9 is plausible, but extremely unlikely in the middle of the summer in TX with those mods.......again......slips?
Well. . . . a bit of explaining is in order.
Strip is in Baytown, T; last night temp was 82 Deg with a 10mph coastal breeze which equated to a tail wind due to the strip being oriented from south to north.
He was running 13.2 4 months ago and then added the Intake, Test pipes and Exhaust.
Still not likely.........even with the above explanation. If he can provide slips and is a member I will add him to the Top 25..........he would be way up there on the bolt-on HR list.

IMO there's better options out there. For example, UpRev Osiris (Tuner version). It costs a little more and doesn't come with preloaded maps, but it does allow you to adjust more parameters.
If you have the tuner version you can download base maps from Uprev I believe.

He is not a member yet, gonna get him one here though. He will be going back to the track once the COBB gets in and we get it tuned. I will make sure he posted the slips.

That is true, but for shear price per HP I can yield pretty good results from COBB. Currently his 350 is running a 22.4 AFR, and we just want to do small changes now and then go with headers and cams at a later date, and if anyone ever gets around to making one, a good intake manifold. The goal is NA build 350 WHP and running mid 12s. (Hopefully)
