see and you guys warp things to someone make fiction into fact. you say stock for stock the HR is faster but HR guys are always saying that the HR responds to mods better, right? anyone gonna refute this? so if the HR responds to mods better then, which in actuality it does, why arent the quarter mile times better in the bolt on list? im just using common sense here guys. not bashing anyone im not saying the HR sucks im just here to try to bring some reality into your life.

now back to topic.. maybe i should contribute to this list. gonna wait until the weather cools down a bit and take the daily to the track and see what she can do in her stock glory!

If you knew me at all, you would know that I have said the 370Z is quicker on MANY occasions. Unfortunately, none of the current owners, that post on forums anyway, have posted a quicker stock time.

I personally think I would run about 2/10ths quicker, if I had both the HR and the VHR at the same track at the same time, driving the 370Z.

My HR always had the slave cylinder handicap during launching, even after having the recall part installed. I could never launch as hard as I wanted too, without the pedal pressure dropping too much. That said, 13.1's were easy and it reached traps of just over 109 mph stock.

I have driven a couple of different 370Z's and it felt a little bit stronger, so I think I could eclipse those times by at least 2/10ths.

I have a ton of videos on youtube, showing my passes. People are always posting humorous comments. I just ignore them for the most part. Everyone has a right to their opinion. The video and times speak for themselves.

My advice, not that you want it, lighten up and don't let the opinion of others get you so upset. Beat them at the track. I have always enjoyed a little smack talk with friends, before and during a track event. Win some lose some.

^^ its like saying water isnt wet yes it is! VHR is faster a HR stock for stock driver for driver. anyone who says otherwise wrong, period. no arguments needed. the end. its like ls1 owners arguing with ls2 owners that the ls1 is just magically faster somehow... noooooo, it isnt.

on side note, there is a g37 coupe owner who has low 13's consistently on stock tires and into the high 12's with drag radials. damn impressive imho. maybe i can convince him to post slips here I know he did on the g37 site. he was hitting 1.89's with stock tires and 1.69's with drag radials, damn good driver.

I'd like to rep NA HR Z's, but I can't afford to buy parts every two seconds.

But I will gladly take donations to further the cause.

I'm not the greatest drag racer, just trying to hone my skills for when winter comes. My goal is low 13's stock this winter.

I added a stillen oil cooler about a month ago, so I guess the car isn't completely stock anymore if you want to be picky.

fastest ET so far (it was w/ the oil cooler):
Car# 2695 on the LEFT
DA = 1875 ft.

fastest ET before the oil cooler:
Car# 2695 on the LEFT
DA = 2024 ft.

Any mods to the motor (intake, exhaust, etc)?

Just seeing if you would qualify for the "bone stock down to the tires category."

I may be willing to look past the oil cooler for the 370 guys. I know you guys have a lot of trouble with going into limp mode from high oil temps. Have to think it over.

I wouldn't care either, as it won't make a difference in the 1/4, unless you are hot lapping.

My friend brought out his bolt-on stock tire 6MT 370Z tonight as well. I've been bugging him to post his slips. IIRC, tonight his best two runs were 12.7x @111mph and 12.6x @ 111mph.

Jason, post your damn time slips already!!
