I know I'm new, & don't want to complicate things, but what if someone had a pro engine builder rebuild/build a none turbo, non supercharged or nitrous engine(you can get 500+HP with cams/port polish heads blah, blah) Will it be in the bolt on list
???? A buid engine car can turn 10's 11's. I'm sorry, just have nothing to do tonight

Here is their build...
Part 1: https://www.fontananissanracing.com/...ld_Part_1.html
Part 2: https://www.fontananissanracing.com/...ld_Part_2.html

Regardless of the preparation, fuel type, or magnitude of the build.....if it is N/A it will go under the bolt-ons+ list. The 03-06 bolt-ons list is already headed by a built block.
If you glance at the 07+ bolt on list you will notice an 08 GT that ran a 12.9 and trapped 111.57. Then note the 60 foot.
Technically the HR ran slightly "faster" in the 1/4, but the driver didn't get as good of a launch, note the 60', causing his time not to be as quick.
So the bolt on 370Z now has a quicker e.t. with a better 60', but is still not "faster" I repeat "FASTER". I still don't see a stock time that is quicker or "FASTER".

I rofl.
This guy is fun.

He was actually on hoosier R6's.....which are open track/ road racing tires....not ideal at all for drag racing, but still stickier/faster than the best street tires. I wouldn't say they are anywhere as good as MT or M&H Dr's though.
You won't get over 500whp.....unless you run a ludicrously expensive build. Even Fontana nissan didn't break that with their purpose built motor (probably cost over 50k bucks as well).

Twin turbos for 350z's cost an avarage of 10k to 20k. You can take a z 350 engine & bore & stroke it to 4+ liter, port & polish heads, put hp camshafts, & higher compression pistons for about the same money. Now you have a (lets be conservative) a high 11's bolt on Z. Since almost ALL 03-06 350z's 07/08 350z's are in the 13's, this would make those lists pointless? irrelevent? You mention a build Z in the 03-06 list. That car is quicker than most Supercharged, & more than half of the nitrous, plus a full second quicker than the avarage 03-06 bolt on. Shouldn't bolt on mean bolt on? Also why would anyone in a bolt on class want to compete against that?
I know you have a full plate here, so I don't really need an answer. I'm just expressing (for fun)my thought on this subject.

The reason for the all encompassing NA list (bolt-ons) is there is simply not enough built block NA cars to warrant a list. If there is a large influx of NA builds that start to run I will entertain it, but it's not worth the effort to separate them at this point. I think it would shock you to see how expensive an all out NA build would cost.

have a good night
Great answer, Mike.
Andre, please note the creation date for that top 25 thread then look at the number of built N/A guys on that list.
