1/8 mile times
I have an 04 G35 Coupe with minor bolt ons, plenum spacer, CAI, exhaust, solid dif bushings, 350z suspension, and a 100 shot. All we have in my area is a 1/8 mile track so heres my times. This is launching at 3400-3600 rpm on drag radials, anything over about 3800 it snaps axles.
Reaction-- .0891
60 ft-- 1.8828
330 ft-- 5.3977
1/8 et-- 8.3007
1/8 mph-- 83.67

60 ft-- 1.8032
330 ft-- 5.3247
1/8 et-- 8.2943
1/8 mph-- 84.83
The issue I am having is I cant get any faster in the 1/8 with out hitting 4th gear but I'm so close to the line that shifting into 4th is pointless unless I short shift 3rd. Anyone got any ideas besides change out gears to 3.3's or 3.9's?

My best time at the 1/8 is only an 8.9@81. Just minor stuff and tune, Spacer, MREV2, TP, exhaust, Osiris.
I'm also in the same situation on not having a 1/4 mile track nearby. 2 hours away also for me.
I like our 1/8 mile track better anyways...What!
Reason. At our 1/8 mile track, we can pretty much hot lap it all night and get 50+ runs in 5 hours if we wanted. No waiting, race who you want, 4 lanes, do about 20 runs, go out get something to eat, do 20 more and call it a night. The 1/4 is just one more gear and 20-25 mph more for me. More practice off the line and shifting from 1-3.
At tout 1/4 mile track, we get about 3-4 runs in 8 hours.
Other areas may be different, but that's just SoCal.
