24 psi in rear tires. dont burn out as it does nothing for street tires. simply spin them over once before staging the car.
in a stock car i would try to leave around 5k riding the clutch a bit till you get moving.

i say you will be lucky if you run a 14.2

and this should probably be in the drag forum

5K seems a little high to me on street tires. I prefer to launch at around 2k easing off of the clutch, trying not to break loose. I'm by no means an expert.

with my drag strip(s.a drag strip i think it called) with new tires i launched at 2.5ish and feathered the clutch a little and got a good launch but you will have to experiment on what does best for you. don't expect to get good launches first time out.

Don't spin in first gear; You will lose a half second+ from doing this.
I like to launch (stock 18" rims) at around 4k, but ride the clutch so it doesn't spin the tires.
I ran 13.7-13.8 (0 sea level) with Injen Exhaust, OBX pulleys, Injen Intake, Kinetix v2 upper plenum w/ no tune, but running 13.5ish af/r WOT with my wideband set-up, so I didn't need a tune.
Shoot for high 13's with a good launch.
Bad launch can put you in mid-high 14's

Don't give advice unless you can drive lol

You are running stock times with all those mods? Wow.

I don't see your 13.5 seconds here:

Must have missed it.

well, went to the track friday... only was able to get two passes in since only one lane was working correctly that night but anyways... first run.. (15.02ish) second run 14.89 @ 96 mph... keep in mind i didnt take my rpms to the max as i am running lean (need my tune) and im sure my psi wasnt exactly on point which caused a **** load of wheel hop and spinning at the start.. hopefully some more practice will make perfect lol

WTF

How lean are you running? When I had full bolt-ons and no tune running stupid lean WOT I was still running 13.4 lol

I dont get why you would even bother going to the track and not run to redline? Like trying to put a half hard **** into...

Wheel hop and spin? Sounds like you're trying to launch too hard.

Kudos for giving it your best. We have plenty of bench racers here who run 13.5 and 13.6 seconds. Never been to the drag strip but are here providing plenty of help.
