Default Borrowed some drag radials to run a newer mustang 5.0 at the track.. enjoy!

I'm Gtm stg 1 supercharged and the 5.0 has I/H/E and 4.10 gears. I got frustrated losing traction so much off the line that I swapped on my buddies 03' cobra wheels with 315 nitto 555's at the track

Ended up running an 8.4 on this pass in the 1/8th, with a 1.9sec 60ft.

Only 8.4 with the radials? What kind of trap are you seeing?

Nice, but you should be faster if your SC and on DRs. Just need more practice at least you beat him was he on street tires.

If you watch his other videos, he is spinning hard all 1st gear and partially 2nd gear.

That is a terrible time with any boost on a tire. Ouch.

i agree that the time should be better since your s/c'd and had radials..

i ran 8.80 in my 04 bolt on automatic... i guess in ways autos could be better at drag though

Yeah that was my first time trying to run on drag radials, I mean I'm sure it can break into the high 7's. Not sure how the stock axles will like it though
