Went to the track tonight for the first time. I'm somewhat disappointed with my time. I ran 14.8 my first pass and then lowered the rear tire pressure to 30, I should have lowered it more. I then mis shifted like three in a row. My best time all night was 14.356. I really need to improve my 60 and it starts with ny launch. I haven't quite figured out what rpm to launch at. I was doing 2k and slowly letting off but I was still burning out every time on 265/35/18's. Any advice? I think I might just need more wheel time and some slicks snd a better drag strip than Heartland Park Topeka.

Track day is horrible yesterday on our way there it started raining so hard we couldn't see so had to pull over.
Then 20 mins later it looked to clear up ahead so kept going went through few more heavy rains patches.
The track was wet when we got there but clouds were clearing started hour and half late. Track was closed early because of lightning starting.
Wet track and humidity best time I could pull was 13.9@102 I really wanted to see what this new TB could do

I've went twice since the first time I went earlier this year and both times I've ran slower. Idk if it's the lowering springs not being as stiff as my stock springs were (I changed to Tanabe GF210's after the first time I went) or something is wrong with my car or what but I ran 14.35 the first time I went and the fastest I've ran since has been 14.5. I think I'm probably done for the year. I plan on getting some radial tires in the rear because I literally have no traction on my 265/35/18s. I've been looking at some BFGoodrich 295/35/18s. I also would like to add a few more things and get a tune.
