Oh yeah, trust me this week I'm going to finish her up and hopefully next weekend I'll make a few more runs and see the difference. I might just run on street tires again w/ the 19's just for a comparison. My goal is low 12's w/ 7# (not on street tires), but I kind of want to throw these 9 pound pulleys on already. I got this video of me doing a pull from 75 - 130, it goes by pretty quickly Maybe I can get one of my friends with their Z06's to run me, if they stop with the excuses.

Oh also, forgot to mention. I think another thing that SUCKS is right before I got to the end, I have to shift into 5th gear, that should be hurting me a little too.

With 7psi I got 330 ftlbs of tq at whatever my peak is, and my times are what they are. I say you should be low low 12's - high 11's with a really good 60' on those slicks. When are you going? I'm going Sunday with 9psi, if all goes well with my tune tomorrow afternoon. Let me know how it goes! Good luck!

I know I wanted to see you run. Weather is getting better now so there will be more times to go. Are you going to dyno on all motor?

Yea once I get everything put together I hope to make 240ish at the wheels with around 250tq. Hopefully I will have it all put together in a couple weeks.

Hey,

I just popped in here because a friend at work just got a 350Z (nice black one) so I thought I'd check out the 1/4 mile times. Saw daking350's pics and think maybe I've seen you at Island Dragway? Can't be too many that look like that - nice car.

Back on the topic at hand...picking that much MPH from the 1/8th the 1/4 means you would benefit greatly from slicks. You will probably pick up a few MPH with a stickier tire. That 2.1xx 60' time is killing you. You easily have an 11 second timeslip in that thing.

I put Hoosier Quick Time Pros on my car. They're DOT approved slicks so I can drive to/from the track without worrying about the cops harassing me for driving around with slicks. My car only does one thing well - going fast in a straight line - so I can live with these tires. You wouldn't want them on your car for anything other than drag racing, but they're something to consider.

Good luck!

Jim
