Stock an RB26 is 2568cc. Xtremes car is stock stroke, and an 87 mm bore.Or 1mm overbore.
The displacement is 2628cc.
They are making a lot of power for that displacment.
They have not had the car out in competition yet.
I am interested in what they are doing with the RB. Even though its in a 350Z chassis.
Its still a Nissan engine in a Nissan chassis.

Is Extreme's car all stock chassis....does not appear to be
Must also be running methanol I would assume to generate that sort of timeslip.
Very impressive car though nevertheless

Lets stop this bickering! We should all be helping one another out here!
I think bluebish deserves the title as the world's fastest 350Z because it retains the block and chassis. Isnt the heart and soul of any car the motor? The Extreme's car is also the fastest 350Z in the world but because it is using an RB26 bored out, it needs the prefix "RB26 powered." Fair enough?
What im most proud of here is 03_ppw350z and his self built motor. As far as i know, he is not affiliated with any shop or has any sponsors. He built the motor with forged internals himself and is producing these numbers by himself. Im glad i never bough those parts off of you man! My hat off to you Alfred.
This is a very exciting weekend. We have NOPI in town and are about to see some good numbers come from Smithstown! Here are the numbers so far for "Qualifying Order for BFGoodrich Pro Street Tire" round 1:
1 Krystos Efantis Toyota Supra 8.216 172.87
2 Gary White Toyota Supra 8.417 171.60
3 Andrew Rubio Nissan 350Z 8.903 161.44
4 John Shepard Eagle Talon 9.920 160.04
5 David Andino Toyota Supra 10.081 136.15
6 Chris Anderson Toyota Supra 18.438 54.76
WOW, a 8 second 350Z !!! http://ndra.nopi.com/eqraces/dsp_qor...0Street%20Tire
Then we have the APS TT kit being installed at MRC up in NJ and we should have some numbers out by by Monday. Good luck Daking.
And 03_ppw350z will be replacing his 440cc injectors soon! What size injectors did you settle with?

I gotta see that run on video, not for proof, just to see it.

Conrads guys. I think you have come a long way in short time and look foward to seeing that Z get faster and show the world the something other than the 2j can make power.
I think people need to stop bringing are car up aas we never stated that we had the worlds fastest 350z. To each his own, it's all about having fun.
Can't wait to see the new car, Dan where are my sneak peaks?

Cmon guy, that comparing apples to oranges..These guys legitimately have the FASTEST full body VQ powered 350z in the world and that was the thread title..Not fastest IMPORT...Who gives a $hit about Steve Papadakis here?He drives a friggin HONDA
Andrew Rubio..FASTEST 350Z in the world..Soon to dethrone Steve Papadakis..

I agree with bluefish. Running a rb in a 350z doesn't really make it a 350z anymore, it becomes something custom to me. Either way all those times are fast and the work that went into them i'm sure is equally impressive so there is no reason to get all worked up.

Guys, the two cars have two completely different set ups.
Carl's car looks like it is a either back-halved or knowing him, a full chasis ordeal. In that class they can run alternative fuels, aftermarket trans, tire of choice. Anything goes! This guy does not mess around. He has a MEAN Supra also. You should see deep in the 7's if back halved, and mid to high 6's if it is proclass car. I'm cheering you on brother.
Andrew's car is a street ordeal. NOT street car. BUt Street Class car with way more restrictions. Stock chasis- IRS, Race Gas, stock style trans, etc. His car is Very fast for his class. But, it is only his practice car. The Pro class car will be a BEAST. With George on their team, things will be INTERESTING. Good Luck guys!
Either way, both cars are the fastest 350z's in their classes. They are both Nissans with Nissan powerplants and that's all that really matters. I'm a Supra guy at heart. But, now that I me and my brother own the 350Z and G35. I can't wait to see how it turns out. These motors have so much potential. Good Luck to all with your build ups! POST SOME NUMBERS.
