Sean is the guy who posts about it over on supraforums.
NEW TIME:
7.30 @ 191
This is an overbore RB26 (somewhere around 2.8L), stock crank, forged pistons and this is the second head they have had on it. Don't know the psi or anything, but they said they got 150HP on the new head they put on it and have NO DOUBTS it will run 6s

thought this was decided . A 350z with a skyline engine, is not the same as a 350z with a 350z engine....
we wish them all the best...
i have not heard them running this time... and they have NOT run in competition yet, so practice runs do not count....
we are glad to see that they are getting close to joining us at the events. we welcome them to the nhra and ndra as fellow nissan drag racers...
any video or timeslips of the 7 second runs??

If you are going to claim World's Fastest, then at least change it to reflect that you are discounting any and all other 350Zs that may forego the VQ for readily availible power.
"i have not heard them running this time... and they have NOT run in competition yet, so practice runs do not count...."
um .. maybe you can try and discount the accuracy of the claim (+/- 1 sec) but they still are a hell of a lot faster than you all.
I admire what you are doing with your car and with your team and andrew the best of luck, but its time to stop claiming you are the fastest when you clearly are not.

it's like someone saying "andrew, you don't have the fastest 350z...you're not stock".
you have an awesome z...but, there are a few out there that are running in the 7-8 range. the one posted above is the fastest out of the group (i believe they are all build by the same company...but, i could be wrong).

first .... RELAX.. as of my post there were NO post regarding the xtreme runs...
we have been the only Z in the 10's and untill the last response we, the industry, and the media have NO knowledge of their RUN, because they have not posted, or presented any data...
There are no other Z's in the world running a VQ powerplant running faster than us...
we wish the team from xtreme all the best, we will be seeing them weely next year... again RELAX.. we are all in this together...
all i was saying is that we are the fastest 350Z, i did not say it after knowing xtreme ran a 7 second pass, i thinks thats GREAT
we can not wait till our Pro-class Z runs 7's and then 6's....
i will revise my statement to relect our new title.
WORLDS FASTEST STREET LEGAL 350Z, as stated in the latest edition of Modified Magazine..
or
WORLDS FASTEST VQ Powered 350Z
or
WORLDS FASTEST STREET TIRE 350Z...
take your pic...
PS i still have not seen the video...anyone want to share it?

I'm with you Bluefish. street legal, VQ powered and street tires, something I can relate to, a 350Z. Now that latest setup may stretch the bounds of street legality though. LOL
Please keep doing what you're doing and share it with us.
P.S. Anybody believe Jeff Gordons car is a Monte Carlo?

Actually if you want to get REALLY technical you guys are NOT the fastest STREET legal 350Z cause your car is nowhere NEAR street legal after removing ALL factory equipped safety devices and front crach bumpers as well as the CATS...Your car is not REGISTERED OR INSURED in the State of NY or any state for that matter and will not pass an inspection and you dont run those times on D.O.T. approved tires..So modified magazine is full of **** when they say STREET LEGAL cars...There is a guy in TX I think on a STREET REGISTERED 350Z running 11.3's so I will give him the fastest 350z STREET LEGAL title in my book...You guys are damn fast and have GREAT ideas and are true pioneers and I got alot of respect for you guys and ANDREW..But lets kill this whole STREET LEAGAL BS..OK? Cause I can whip out the NY or NJ motorvehicle statutes and start ripping apart the whole STREET LEGAL claim with about 575 violations...lol..
Lets go with...Fatest FULL BODY 350Z DRAG CAR...Hows that?
Keep up the good work..

We DO run DOT approved Street tires. THe BF Goodrich pro-Street Tires class Demands it.
BF Goodrich G-Force Drag Radial's DOT Approved....
and i agree, street legal is a very grey term.... however, we thank your for your support....
lets move on to other topics... we will post our times from the last two Texas Races

10.32 is a very impressive time but to say its the fastest z in the world isnt right. There are too many variables that determine what a person thinks makes a z.
