so has anyone come up with a bit more elegant aproach to the toggle switch?
I'm not too excited about drilling out a fuse and such, there should be a better way.

thanks

They make fuse taps for the exact reason... probbaly cost .50 at radio shack or pep boys... I have had the toggle in my car for about a year i would say... I removed the fuse, put in the tap, ran an inline fuse to my toggle.. and when the toggle is off,,, everything is like stock and when i race, i flip it on and walla,,, no brake lights!!! Or you can just pull the fuse... Just remember that you will still have no brake lights when the circiut is disabled... And I am actuallt instaling line locks in the near future.. As soon as I have time... mainly to help load up the motor and build boost when i launch..

line lock is defintely the best solution, please let me know once you got that done.

Fuse tap sounds like a good compromise in the meantime

I put it on my car, and its a very clean install. It was easier to spend the $35 than run all over town to get the parts.

cool thanks.
I have all the parts for this, I can just do this myself in a few just using a Fuse Tap instead.

Glad he's doing this though for the electronically challenged

lol, I'm still alive and kicking just haven't spent much time on here in a while...

the fuse switch worked great for me but is very limited so I upgraded to line locks who were an amazing investment and they haven't let me down once...

Hey Coach. Line locks would be easy to set up in your car. They will work perfectly.

I was thinking the same thing... now that I have the new tranny going in I'll finally be able to see what kind of power this motor has. Got any parachutes laying around

You pretty much take the lines out of the ABS module that go to the front and get fittings that fit there and run a line to two seperate line locks.

Line locks work by stepping on the brake pedal, then turning them on, it holds the pressure in the line.

Hell yeah Tom, i can see some fast times in your very near future!!
