there are lots of drifters in florida, contact shops like enjuku, tertech, ect if you want to hook up with people that drift. they will point you in the correct direction.

 

I beleive we just got the go ahead to head all of the practice and qulifying for D1 in the east coast. Trying to set up events for port charlotte, sebring, orlando, ocala, i think homestead and more.........

~Drift Day~

December 9th @ South Florida Fair grounds....

Unfortunately, the post went out on SFLDrifters.com and sold out in 6 hours within post for registration. Good news is that its a practice event and there will be a competition in January (unknown dates at this time).

10$ per spectator.

Event begins around 11AM... I think people will gather at around 10AM.

Once again, its a practice event.. so its a learning experience for some, practice for rookies like me an others, and fun for those who think they are Drift Kings.

I hear that there will be one or two Formula D drivers out there to check out the event.

at the gainesville roadcourse test and tunes they don't care if you drift the course, but after the 3rd off course you are out.

Yea, I was going, and I was there. Although, I did not get a chance to register so that I could practice on the open lot and then go out to the big track. But, it was fun watching those guys go at it!

Was that you in the blue Z with the black rims?

Who ever it was in the a blue Z with black rims and black tint looked as if they were a bit afraid to "get-on-it". We need to link up so we can hit up some practices. Im in the Boca area now so hit me up!


The next event there is scheduled for Sept 2nd. Rumors of another event, elsewhere.... my scheduling is a lot more free lately so I will be doing a lot more drifting this year!

 

Yep that was me. I did see your car, and saw you once on the practice lot. It was my first drifting event so, yes I wasn't pushing very hard but did learn a lot and started getting the hang of it. My last run was the best, I pushed the gas got some smoke and kept the car in control, Fun!
I wish I could have talked to you, but I saw your car parked with no one near. It is also being said that the Countyline drag stip here in Broward will allow some drifting events. We can meet up sor sure, and you can give me some pointers
