i believe the sr transmission is somewhere around 20-40lbs lighter. I am actually running the VQ transmission right now adapted to the sr engine.

Why dont you guys sell a kit for this swap? I would love to build another sr. Also how are you getting so much angle on your titan z? I have the tein inners and spl outter tie rods and have cut the stops but it seems you have alot of more steering angle?

Exactly!!!! I am very intersted in doing the SR swap in my 04 Z as well. How about someone in the market for a VQ contact me and we can get up and swap them out and try to save some cash haha But seriously we need an sr/vq exchange program. Is it really hard to make engine mounts and everything needed to get the sr in? i know theres alot of 240 guys that want VQ's so why is this swap so expensive?? If chris f. can pm me, feel free. or someone that knows alot about it....

I'm lost. Why the swap from a VQ to an SR? Cheaper build? If that is the case, wouldn't a TT build be much better? Either way, I would think that the VQ would be a better stock block to build up since it's already close to the 300 whp.
