I actually have a few 15's left that I was going to burn off with the hot rod. Too bad the hot rod is down till I get this sc going.

its starting to look like a car. Getting ready for paint.

Trying to talk Brian Crower out of a 3.4l stroker kit. So far its kinda working. Probably doing a 2jzgte DVD with drifting.com. CP pistons may be helping me out with a set. Ended up on the phone most of the day again. Droping off the motor at [URL="http://www.speedomotive.com/" Speed O Motive[/URL] in the morning to start being cleaned up and ready for machining. I trust those guys alot. We made a sr20det and ran it on thier dyno for the castrol top shop challenge, it made just over 850hp on 100 octane.
Still trying to get a clutch and wheels for this thing. The car goes to paint on monday, think I found a color I like.

nice to see the car coming all together
3.4 would be pretty amazing.

you doing anything as far as fender flaring or wide fenders for a wider track?
that would look great.

btw, i think you should use brandon's car as a backup in addition to this. hes moving anyways, he'll never see/use it.

guess the hot rod will be out of commision for a while. that thing was fun to ride in, should do a 1000hp 2j in that thing too!

You know for a second I thought about asking brandon how much he would sell me his car for and I just couldnt do it.

Picked up another sponsor, Rotora. Too bad thier web site is down. Said it was getting moved or something.

6 hours later and finally the body kit still doesnt fit right but at least its decent from 30ft away.

Thats what I get for buying a $200 body kit. What a waste of time. I did drop off the motor at speed o motive. And the rear end got dropped off at Kaaz.

Still need a better clutch pedal, wheel sponsor, and a turbo.

You know what they say about guys with long thumbs.

Good news, new sponsors,

And

They are sending the BC 3.4 stroker kit with 9.0 compression pistons, 272 cams, titanium retainers, and single style valve springs. We will also be going a DVD with Drifting.com for the motor build.

Also when I got home, was happy to find my cat ontop of this

And this thing is cool, rad cap with temp guage built in.

very nice. looking forward to seeing the completer product.

any idea what turbo size/setup you are planning on running? also, whats your goal as far as weight for the car? i know the sc is a bit heavy, just wondering what you can get it down to.

Got a couple new sponsors,

www.aitracing.com, they saw the body kit and said they had something better. Unfortunatly they are out of front bumpers but will have one in a couple weeks. In the mean time the old bumper will be getting painted.

www.knwautobody.com/ will be doing the body work. Great guys and they are used to dealing with aftermarket cars. At least half the cars in there today where getting kits fitted and molded. If your looking for someone in the 909, hit these guys up.

I'm leaving for hawaii tomarro (family stuff) which kinda works out I guess. The chassis is over at knwautobody and they will need it for some time. Then the BC stroker showed up at speed o motive this morning. They will need some time to get that together too. Which leaves me a week with nothing to do but hang out with old friends and the family. I'm glad to take a break from this car which has taken up all my time. Just when I get back, its full tilt till the end. I'm still in need of some parts which I hope to have ordered and on its way to the shop by the time I get back.

Well today was april 1st and I dont know if it was a joke or not, but talked to Ray over at Kaaz to go pick up the diff and he said he did something special to it. So my impression was he shimmed the diff some special way to make it better then normal or something. Well when I got down to Kaaz, this is what I found.

Also Speed O Motive called, said the valve guides where no good and we needed replacements, which kinda sucks cause we are supposed to be shooting the DVD with drifting.com tomarro. Well they found some on short notice unfortunatly cause now I have to wake up in a few hours to start on that.

Kenny over at K&W autobody calls me and said "I need parts", well I've been talking to Seibon for a while and they never came to a hard decision but they finally gave in a bit and helped us out. Ring the bell, we have a new sponsor, not full but at least I got the parts needed to keep this thing going.

Thank god someone in the USA makes doors for this car. Not cheep by any means but at least its there.

Then also got the TSII hood and the oem trunk

I'm running out of time fast. Start building the motor in a few hours.

Yeah, I need to measure that up.

Good News, Got probably the best ecu on the market. This thing can do just about anything, I'll let the stats speak for itself.

V88 Model ECU

The ViPEC V88 is our most advanced ECU. This ECU has many features which allow it to be setup to suit various types of engine configurations. It has very flexible options over how the inputs and outputs are controlled, and allows the user to design their own functions to control all sorts of devices. Precise control of injectors and ignition angle are guaranteed at very low or high RPM or manifold pressures. A very high level of protection from interference and tolerance of trigger input errors has been built into this ECU, ensuring a smooth running engine even under the most demanding conditions.

Variable camshaft control for up to four camshaft. Control of camshaft position is very precise and time taken to advance from full retard to full advance is less the 1 second. Support for VVT and VANOS systems.

Closed loop control of idle speed and boost pressure makes for a "factory" idle speed stability, and precise control of boost pressure. Boost control can be setup to provide a different boost in each gear.

Knock control with support for two sensors. Knock control is user definable with flexible settings to allow precise knock control.

E-Throttle (Electronic Throttle Control).

Peak and hold injector drivers are 10 amp. Both the peak Amps and hold Amps can be set separately in the software for optimum injector control. See setup screen.

Feature Comparison for V44, V88 and plug-in ECU

HARDWARE:

Main Connector 2 x 34 Pin waterproof.

USB data link connector plus CAN

Case, silver extruded aluminium, 169 x 172 x 42 mm (overall).

40 MHz Specialised Automotive Microprocessor.

Ignition control to 0.1 degree, fuel to 0.01 ms -

32 Bit Calculation -
10 Bit ADC Resolution
Max 20000 RPM

ECU to PC data link operates at up to 115k baud for fast cal down load & Log file upload (19sec typ for 112k bytes). 112k logging memory.

Internal Diagnostic light & optional remote light.

High efficiency power supply & output drivers for reduced power consumption and reduced self-heating.

Eight ignition outputs. Secquential to 8 cylinders and wasted spark up to 16 cylnders.

Software selectable mappable dwell or O/P pulse duration modes possible.

Eight coil dwell, software selectable.

Eight high current injector outputs.

Spare injector and ignition outputs can be used for output control.
