Default Dealership Reccomendation in Southern ON?

Hey all,

Does anyone have any reccomendations for a dealership to service in my Z, somewhere preferably south of Toronto, in KW,Brantford,Cambridge maybe... but i'll take other suggestions as well
I have not had any luck with one in particular and i honestly dont feel comfortable taking the car there anymore if I can avoid it.

Help is appriciated, Thanks!

Lemans, what dealer did you have problems with? Good to know where so we can shy away from there.

Peter?!?!? I spoke to that guy a month ago and I swear, that day I could have sworn that men can have PMS too. He was being so unhelpful. First told me that there are no problems with the 350Z. I refreshed his memory with the class act lawsuit in the states about the tire feathering issue. Ahhh...yes now I remember. So there is a little problem. At this point I told him I would appreciate it if he would not lie to me. He said he didn't lie. Omg..did this guy hear what I just said about not lieing?! I then asked about what Nissan is going to do about this very concerning problem. He said nothing. I reminded him that this is a manufacturing defect. He then went the route as to pointing out my young age and how I must drive this puppy hard. Remind me again why I bought a sportscar?? Oh yes...to pick up groceries and listen to Beethoven. Ah yes...as I was saying. Upon purchase of this used '03, which was bought from a used car lot, I had the car inspected at 401/Dixie. If it met their standards, I would purchase the car from this used car lot. (Cars on Dixie). Nissan said, sure...just replace front brake rotors. Fine. Barely 2000km later, I found out about tire roar and that has led me to 401/Dixie -speaking to Peter. Prompted him with the documentation from technician and asked him why wasn't the severe tire wear not written down on paper. Something along the lines of..."severe tire wear - replace immediately", should have been noted. He said that if I took it to MTO it would pass. How about I take it to J.D. Power and ask them instead?! He shooed me away saying they wont do anything about it. This was about a month ago. I want to go back to pay him a sweet visit. This time with a letter printed off the net. I doubt I will get an official letter from Nissan because I bought it from a 3rd party dealership. I even had to ask him for the 1-800 Number because otherwise...he would have done me nothing. Very disappointed in his behaviour. My tires are pretty bald...I mean I am affraid to go on gravel just in case it punctures my tires. Tire roar? Someone thought it was the Go Train running next to them. Pretty sad service when they know I bought an Altima from them a few years ago.

Thats weird LugZ. I had my tires replaced at 401/Dixie after my first oil change, they'r the ones that found it and they even ordered the tires right away. Peter was very helpful with me, he went out with me to listen to my problem "clutch pedal squeeks" then he told me might as well stick a new tranny for you! then he replaced the axles according to the TSB "clicking noise" which I didn't even know about.

Sorry you had a bad experience

Its very dissapointing that so many others have had bad experiances with dealerships. This is certainly not isolated to Nissan, but i am hearing it far too much from fellow owners. It really takes all the joy out of the owning the car. The 350 might be a great car, fun to drive, etc but if the service dept doesnt treat its customers right, it makes no difference. No one wants to have to worry every time they take the car for a simple oil change let alone a major repair. Customer satisfation seems to be less and less important these days.

Lemans, I bought my G at Guelph Infiniti Nissan. I asked around before my purchase for recommendations and I was told they were acceptable. I only have had my car in a couple of times for regular servicing.

haha..I wouldn't say that. Prior to our G we owned 2 Maximas and were always impressed with the car and the dealer service (Camron Nissan, Owen Sound), thats why we stayed in the Family.
