I bought my Redline 350Z exactly 3 months ago and I happen to go back to my home country(Korea, within 4 months). I really want to take my Z with me but my home country imposes hella taxes on imported car and requires lots of paper works. So.. I have really no option but sell it. Please help me quoting the value of my car.

This is the detail.

2003 350z with Perfomance Package purchased end of October. (You know.. it comes with Leather seat, Heated seat, mirror, and Bose sound system)

ONLY 4000 KMs
Nissan Extendied warranty.
Rust proof, Underbody coating.

Babied my car until 2500 KM, now I rev up to 5k. Since weather is so bad these days, I haven't able to full-throttle. If you live in Toronto, U should know what I mean...

This list is what I have done to my car.

35% Smoked Tint all around


Custom-made Sub inclosure + 2 x JL 10w3




Sony WX-7700MDX double din size deck imported from Japan
+ Alpine TME760 6.5 LCD






Focal Polykevlar 6.5' component for the front fill
Infinity Kappa 62.5i coxial for the rear fill
2 JL amps

Alpine Nav Unit(bought it at special price. there was a problem with the antenna so I sent it to Apline North America. wating for replacement. This unit hjas much better interface than stock CANADIAN nav which costs $4000)

Spent total 14k for the sound system. I have kept every single reciept.

I have no idea how much is a used 350z. I belive it still maintains its value pretty well. The car is absolutely in perfect condition. I prefer selling my car with the sound system because I spent a lot of money on installation and labour and also don't want to wander over to sell each part( it's win-win situation for me and new owner who want a perfect sound system I beileve)

So how much money do you think I can expect?

I really don't know about that
All I want is a reasonable price as the most car owners would want.

The car is so new that the new leather smell hasn't gone yet
I just look up the autotrader.ca and most of dealers are advertising perf/tour models at 49k range. I know it's outrage but I had some idea of its market value.

Do you think $45800 for the car and $6k for the sound system sound too much? Since it's private sale so there should be no GST.

I spent $47000 MSRP + $1300 extendied warranty + $500 paint/rust protection + freight fee + (and of course GST&PST) + $200 tint + $14k for the sound system.

Negotiation is always possible.

 

so that will be at 51800.....just slightly under what a new performance would be(with all the taxes/pdi/fees)......i guess it would be ok.....since you put so much into your car already......but there's always the factor that they can just buy a brand new one ......don't' know

Sorry chazzg, can't sell it right away to you. As I mentioned earlier, I would prefer selling whole audio system with the car.
If you're going to spend $500 + shipping for the unit, why don't you order it from Japan?
