i don't see why you can't get more than 500 to the wheels ... straight out of the box on stock internals and everything ran me up to 443/390. so i would assume with your strenghtened internals you could do 550 @ maybe 12-15 boost.

500hp stock block?? Thats not really safe IMO, yes it has been done but the chances of blowing my motor @ that power level is to high. Plus if I wanted more power later on I would have to pull the motor and get the kit off and on again, to much trouble.
i just wanted to do it right the first time, and not worry about a big bang!
Yes I am looking to make more than 500hp,we should hook up this summer and do some 1/4's!!
Are you TT as well?

That's really cool Andy. Be prepared to have to relearn how to drive the car. This TT kit will really transform it and put it into another class, trust me.
Are you gonna take any pics?
Good luck!

i just recently went for a test drive in a stock 350z and noticed how much of a gain putting the APS did in terms of power on the top end and in terms of "fun" factor
oh, and madelinot, my #'s are still all over the place as we're still figuring out some tuning issues. for some reason my z is giving me problems with power steering failure and low idle stalls, did you have this problem too after your install?

Idle is lower, yes. But the car does not stall. And I can't reprogram it with my Cipher because my engine is ULEV2 (2004.5). I would need to send my ECU to Technosquare or something.
Are you still using the Unichip? Who's doing the tuning for you?
Thanks!

i forgot who exactly did the tuning but he was apparently the only unichip programmers in toronto and we contracted him through JRP.
Where did you guys order your kits from? I looking at going blown, either turbo or supercharger, and I am just starting to look at what it will cost. The first hurdle seems to be just ordering the kit. Then finding somewhere to tune it...
Got mine from GRD in Chicago. They also tuned it.
Yours was probably tuned by Marco Passante from Magnus Motorsports. I saw him, but was not impressed and had to retune it after. I wish we had good tuners around here. That's one of the reasons why I'm gonna be trying UTEC once we get warmer weather.

Are you APS also? Did you get it from JRP? I heard a lot off issues with the Unichip and piggybacks in general. what are other problems are you having?
And there are great tuners in GTA but they don't use Unichip so finding a unichip tuner is hard.
Paul at neetronics is an AEM, Hondata, Emanage, and COBB pro, and several others. If you guys have any questions about tuning give him a call first. He is the best in the GTA. 905-602-1949

and yes, there's only ONE unichip programmer in toronto area and he charges $250 per hour (incl. dyno time) to tune the unichip, which is absolutely ridiculous.
