Default 12+ Stone chips

I washed my car yesterday and found out my z has more than 12 'white' stone chips all over the hood.(some others on bumper and fenders) All stonechips were made during Feb-April because last time I waxed my car was on mid-Feb and there was only 1 stone chip.

It's fxxxing insane!! I used to drive Honda/Toyota but never been this bad. I can live with orage peel but can't live with stone chips...

arrrrrrggggg... How much does it cost for repainting the hood?
I think I have to put 3M clear bra very soon...

I got a whole bunch on a road trip last Saturday... I shrug it off... stone chips are unavoidable for the most part, and I'd rather enjoy the drive than worry about stone chips.

Default well

It may just be me, but it seems that the Z isn't very aero dynamic or something.

(yea it looks bad *** but thats another post..)

Anyway, I can drive my 3g eclipse for a week, and have very very minimal bug splatter on my front end/windshield.

However if I take the Z out for more than 20 minutes, the front end is just COVERED in bugs. The windshield seems to get them almost as bad as the front end!

Oh well, all the more reason to wash it and spend an afternoon with the Z.

Who is the best person in Toronto to get minor blemishes fixed? I'm thinking of getting a few stone chips professionally filled by Car Magic. Anyone hear of them? They just took over the Jaguar dealership that failed at Woodbine and John. I think if your going to spend money for touch up paint and your time, you might as well get it professionally done where you cant notice it (fill and wetsand). Any thoughts?

Default Grand Prix Auto Detailing - Stone Chip Repairs

Grand Prix Auto Detailing at Keele St & Steeles Ave West does a great job on stone chip and scratch repairs. They mix the paint on-site and the colour matches perfect. These guys are pretty cool and know what their doing...
