were you doing some "spirited" driving? sometimes they let things slide if you aren't doing anything wrong, but once you slip, they nail you for stupid things like no front plates.

 

I was driving normal @ 50km/hr. I was behind a airport limo. He stop the limo and than he saw me behind, he stop me as well. He told me to fight it, and bring a picture with the plate on the car, he will consider drop the charges, but he say he has to do it. I guess with my tickets, he got 25 charges, so he can go home early and enjoy the rest of day. Now my plate is on and I going to fight it.

Noddleman I don't know how you going to get the plate on. But just be careful!!!

and it's not even the end of the month.

I'm thinking about making some sort of bracket that utilizes the tow hook in order to mount plate, but i'm not really in the hurry to get that done yet.

Would anyone be interested in an adjustable front plate mount
based on the tow hook location? If I get enough interest in one,
we'll set up the tooling to knock out a bunch. I have a prototype
on the '07 and it looks great!

 

i would've bought the stillen one if it fit my aftermarket bumper. It partially covers my tow hook mount right now.

I got dinged twice last yr for no plate. I disputed both. First trial i couldnt make the trial date and didnt reshedule so just paid it. Second ticket i went to court, told them I fixed it and they let me off without a penalty
