Question Best Nissan Dealer in the GTA?

I had my transmission replaced under warranty in BC shortly before moving out here, and it's start making a couple funny noises when it's cold. I've learned that these things tend to be a bit noisy but I wouldn't mind getting it checked out just in case.

From your experiences, is there any one dealer to specifically avoid or to head to? I live pretty much downtown, so I'm gonna have to drive somewhere, thus distance doesn't matter much to me.

Cheers,
Dave

So I was just searching this forum for something completely different and found similar threads... duh

Seems Dixie, St Clair and Downtown got good recommendations. I know where downtown is (I live on the same road, so I think I can find it...), where abouts are Dixie and St. Clair, both names sound familiar, but I'm only a few weeks in town and really only know how to find the parking garage in my building

Oakville, Dixie, St.Clair are some that I would personally goto.
dixie is in the west end (mississauga)
St.Clair nissan is on Dundas west just before keele( i think)..

Downtown nissan has closed down, to bad as it was a great location with great service...

Here you go NISSAN DEALERSHIP LOCATIONS , you will find exact address's.

You should come out to a mini meet, you can get more familiar with the city this way.

Cheers,
Church

Thanks, looks like St. Clair ain't too hard to get to, I might take a quick spin up there.

I'd be up for a mini-meet, just drop me a note next time you know when you're having one.

Cheers guys,
D

^it's no-no on Alta Nissan Richmond Hill for me.

Service sucks! Mechanics are incompetent, who the hell installs a simple bracket backwards?

Edit: Forgot to mention that they ****ed up the fuel sending unit and the lines for it. Now my gas gauge never reads past half tank when I fill up.

BEST
Oakville Nissan - 45 minutes for an oil change and I was late for my appointment (totally my fault). Frank in service was awesome and made sure my car wasn't sitting around. Best experience by far at a Nissan dealership.

NOT SO GOOD

Brampton North Nissan - 2 hours for an oil change WITH an appointment. There was a little window from the service department to the waiting area and they just happened to park my car right in front of it. There were like 3 mechanics looking at my JWT Pop-Charger like it was from outer space, which I dont mind. I would probably do the same if I worked there, but not when i've been waiting for more than an hour just to get my car on a hoist.

Oakville Nissan

Spent a fortune there on my 03 350 Z. Modified by them. Car failed emision test and needed 1 new cat. No warrenty as car was not stock and no service records. Stillen Sc with all the toys. They will take your money, tell you warrenty is no problem and you are on your own.
Nothing but a bunch of BS!!!!!
They did nothing to help me.
Why would you by a car from them.
107.00 an hour labour.
The car passed on the the 4 th test,( the guys at green and ross where great people to help me.
I also had extended warenty, Total waste of money.

next car, GT 500 mustang cobra

I knew that the car was modified but they could have helped me as in the next 2 days it would have been off the road.
I also have a problem with # 2 cylinder, down 40 psig. It looks like a broken ring land. Once more, no help,
If you buy any thing from there parts counter get it in writing that they will warenty your car, for once you go to the service counter with a problem your out of luck.
I had no problems with them for 3.5 years and then they showed there true colours.

^ Ouch, sorry to hear about your experience. I stopped going to Nissan dealerships for anything already, and I still have extended warranty.

Had the car in at St Clair Nissan this week, great service, above and beyond actually. Without spending a penny there yet, they were making calls left, right and center trying to sort out the extended warranty that wasn't transfered into my name (I didn't even know about it) when I purchased the vehicle, which they did manage to do. Very happen with them, thanks for the recommendations.
