I'm lovin the look of this new hood. I was thinking on painting all but the vent areas black but now I have it on I think i will just leave it as is.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Yes this is a very good fit and it comes with the grills. Everyone who has seen it in person says its awesome. The gap on the sides seam a little larger than the oem hood and the body shop had to adjust my hood latch to get a good fit but that's about it. I have the tein hood shocks as well.
I have the aerocatch hood pins but the Body shop was concerned about the angle and the install so they are not in right now.
I will see later if the rubber weather seal from the oem hood will fit the Seibon unless someone here can tell me if it does?

Nice hood
I just bought the foamy automotive weather stripping from Canadian Tire and taped it in the front to keep the wind from going in. I'm not a show car so I really don't care, you on the other hand might.

Air brushing the two headed Draggon is also now out
That idea came partially from my first day at the track chassing down an experienced driver in a porsche boxster. He had to wave me buy. His comments to me after was "Damn.... all I hear is this beast coming up on me like a Dragon hunting me down" That really made my day.
Good decision on the dragon, a forum member had a dragon on the side of his 350Z before and it got keyed. It's asking for too much bad attention.

Hey Nissan NX
Nice to here from you. We will have to do another track day together next year for sure.
It was fun when we tracked down that Posche at the end of the day. Needless to say I had a passenger with me at the time that added extra weight but we still caught the Porsche. I must admit though I didnt start out that way for the day. It was a learning curve with "lot's" yet to learn.
I would think the vents will help with cooling but its still new and hard to tell. The OEM temp. gauge is not very accurate from what I understand. Proving grounds will have to wait untill next year for me. I have a larger stearing fluid rad to install plus a laundry list of stuff on my wish list LOL.

Your right the CF hood attracts enough attn on its own. I was in TO after the VanHalen concert Sat and got lots of thumbs up on the car with the stereo blasting Van Halen of course. hehe I felt like I was 19 again.

Wow, nice car, that looks very good, but I would still paint the hood if I were you. Yep, the more I look at the pictures, the more I'm convinced it would look 100% better if it was painted.
Later,
