Clutchmasters
Story,
So I have a Clutch masters stage 3 clutch and lightweight FW. The trigger plate on the FW was slightly damaged when my OEM Eng blew some time ago.
So I called CM and they would not sell me a new Trigger plate but said they would install for $65 if I send it in. I think yeah ok that’s not bad I will send this in.
Well I also thought it would be a good idea to send the clutch along for inspection and it’s not going to cost too much extra. This is going to CM in Cali BTW.
CM get them both and email me back, yeah we installed the trigger plate and a new contact plate. The contact plate is ~$100 9dont recall exact price but over $100. I didn’t ask for this.
Then CM says the clutch is shot and to rebuild is another $350 but I can get any stage I want.
Damn this is way more than I expected or wanted.
125 for shipping too CM
500 for repair
125 for return shipping
Tax?
I figure this will cost me over $800 all in for repair and it was working perfectly before. I guess CM don’t want to send anything back unless it’s like new.
Lastly if I don’t get back to them they will scrap it. (maybe already too late)
It’s not worth repairing for me I was hoping to repair the FW for the say 300 all in and then sell the set for 600 or so.
Guess im out here unless someone wants it.

Custom decal work?
Hey guys, I went to ImportFest this weekend and came across this R32 GTR parked in the APH section. This car had a wicked full body decal work done to it. It had a koi fish theme. Noticed it had a Maruyichi Auto sticker also, looked them up and this company imports cars and other parts from Japan.
Does anyone here know where the decal work was done and by who? Or does anyone know of any shops out there that do this kind of work?
Cheers.

^ Did some digging around today at work and found out the decal work was done by Shinzo Media. This R32 GTR and another 350z with Veilside widebody both have the same decal work and are both show cars for Maruyichi Auto. I really like it.

lol "tiny" facelift.
edit: Anth,
http://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-t...m-spacers.html
See, comes with hub rings (sealed). Maybe they're discontinued or something.
well, the guy at the bottom said the new ones come with hub ring built in. So i'm not sure.
