The Useless East Canada thread!
Need to wedge myself into the street class rwd with my 350Z next year.
What is the best 2 way adjustable coilovers? Can’t have a remote resevoir, but I do not think that will be an issue. will get corner balanced...
What brakes should I run? upgrades are unlimited. Seeing I can get stoptech st60/40 14” bbk from CZP for like 3650 shipped. pads? or just stockers? just have to run hard for 3 laps...
power wise on a budget I am thinking some test pipes would be the best bang for the buck and won’t really threaten to bump me up a class.
light weight clutch and flywheel.
flirting with gutting it.... but... don’t know about the real benefit and weight savings.

Your stock brakes are fine for timeattack. Bigger brakes just last longer, don't actually stop you faster. God no stock pads will not do, get proper track pads :P
weight savings will make you accel/brake/turn faster, so anything you can throw out do so. Depending on how much you 'gut' there is about 200lbs to lose pretty easily and cheaply, but it does make the car miserable to drive.
Do some reading in the track section here. Coilovers won't shave the same time off our cars like it would a civic, our suspension is decent as is. You could play with swaybars for cheap. I hear our cars respond well to camber. I don't really understand why remote res shocks are banned, but engine swaps/turbos/gutted is ok in the rulebook, but then again the rulebook is like 4 pages long... Not that tech inspection would find them, as there isn't one.
Front splitter/diffuser is cheap.
Also take a look at time-attack.ca. More classes, better structure, free instructors, more tracks, etc.
Read the rule book at time-attack.ca>
makes it sound no fun at all. haha.
most concerning is my blitz spoiler is probably 1 PIP.
lol.

OTA rules were designed to keep budgets down. CSCS to me is just a race who spent the most on their car. I can't run 23s at TMP without spending probably 10k on my car.

thinking about a set of these on my C63....not sure if they'll match up well though.
