I can't WAIT for double digits Dave. Ill be out and about for sure
I can admit to being a ***** around the last turn at TMP. Something about the wall, I've seen a few cars put their rear into it (and fronts, and sides..). I find I enter way too slow, treat it as 2 turns so I am way out on the outside before cutting almost straight across that big flat rumble in 2nd gear and track out slowly. Im positive there's close to a second lost here too, as Im not red lining 4th for turn 1 (can't remember how close I am).
Turn 1 and final turn are what I want to work on, as well as my braking/line through that kink/"S" right before the other hairpin. I usually brake before the rumbles to not lock up, but I want to try braking on/after them this year.

Downshifting smoothness!
I found more insanity/anger helps a lot too.
My fastest laps last summer just happened to be after someone was holding me up. Coincedence? No. It's the racing red mist.

I'm going to be taking mine out for a spin after work tomorrow. Hopefully my insurance will let me put coverage on just for day

the recovery wasn't too bad. The procedure wasn't fun for me. I did however develop a cyst after the root canal so I had to do another surgery to extract the thing :/

Those are some sexy covers. I'm more of a leopard print man myself though.
Put the dash back into the car today, I gave up on the wiring and just stuffed it back in. Its just too much work. I had a good 10 bolts and screws left over and have no idea where they were supposed to go lol
Picked up some APR CF mirrors today though. Figured it could save 2 or 3lbs, which is both exciting and depressing.

I rolled my Z out today and 3 times around the block.
Weight reduction, new dif, and no canisters on the back of the exhaust.
She feels and sounded like a racecar.

A bit off topic...
Since I bought my Z last fall, I have noticed how it affects other drivers on the road, and I just though I would rant/share...
I get that when someone pulls up to a car a sexy as ours, they may be inclined to try and race. I'm not much of a speeder, but when the conditions are right, I'm willing to step up (until I just get over the speed limit). what I don't get is how the following vehicles will try and race everytime. And even once you make a fool of them, when they finally catch up, they "zoom" by you.
It's a short list, but feel free to edit according to your experiences:
1) CAVALIERS (surprisingly not Sunfires, just stupid cavaliers)
2) Full size pickup trucks
3) Newer minivans
I now refuse to give these vehicles the satisfaction of even getting my attention. But even that frustrates me because I'm sure that those ridiculous Cavalier drivers are like "yeah, I killed that Z!"
Sorry for the rant, I just can't stand having my z disrespected!

I think I just don't notice it anymore. But when I do, its usually some big *** pickup truck that I could probably fit my car under. I generally don't play along, as tend to drive like an old lady lol
Thanks to Judd and his awful paint job, and I had a spare hood to ruin!
8lbs of metal came out, plus probably 2 or 3 with the latch system. Hood is a little more flimsy but I left a good "border" as you can see its not bad really. With 2 pins vs 1 latch I think it will be just fine.
