Yeah currently the trunk and rear seats are gutted, a lot of plastics are gone. Im hesitating on taking the full plunge. Seems like everyone around me is buying up z06's from the states but I know and love this car inside out, I cant just give it up.

Might get a GS300 or a Maxima or a cheap G sedan.... Who knows..
Something with a lil more luxury. I might stay away from the VQ's tho... They dont last in the high km's it seems.

I just signed up for cscs time attack round 1 at cayuga.

sucks! only 2 time attack laps. wish I had more time to do more ota events.

oh well I will get some done this year. More time for it next year.

Rode in a new Camero the other day. Was pretty decent, this one had 1000hp twin turbo. Stock block, heads, axels, etc.

I call BS on 1000 hp on stock block and if he is good luck I bet it wont last if he uses that pwr.

There are guys with forged internals aro that are hitting that though. The guys at SPI peformace have built some.

 

He said it was dynoed at 850wheel at 14psi, and was holding at 16 the other day. So probably close too 1000, but that is pushing the limit. Upgraded valve springs and runs meth, otherwise stock. And bigger injectors.

I think at 850 with meth its pretty reliable. He also can't launch it with his shafts. But holy **** its a beast.

I came back from exercice yesterday ! so I have a lot of job to do by the 3rd of June !!!!
today is fixing the exhaust and diff swap ! inbetween a little date with my girl ! hehe
I already snaped 2 bolts !!! grrr ****ing rusty bolt on the exhaust.

 

Well good news. Bad news. I just uploaded the data from my Aim SOlo and found I had a couple of very good laps. But I am worried about cyllinder 4.

I'm burning through a lot of oil, and had some engine stuttering at high speed.

I hope the engine can last the season, then I can tear it apart in October.

 

Ummm.... New engine for 2th?? Start looking now just in case!

 

Where is a good place to start looking?

I ran a 1:22.40 lap on lap 16, and then was actually going faster on lap 17 when I shut it down to cool off and go in the pits..

But I was so convinced that I wouldn't be going that fast that I just stopped looking at the SOLO screen. Oh well.
