I dont know why he would lie about that, i've known him for a long time now, he has nothing to hide but then again you just never know. Ive got to do some more digging.

yeah it does suck, he had no idea of the TSB, I should email him our entire TSB oil consumption topic so he gets a clue, he was telling me it might only be a US problem, I told him its the same engine, but he said there are a few parts on the engine that arent the same which might make the difference, I doubted that when I heard it.

whoa, a few parts different... at this point, I can def say that he is uninformed, and probably does not know the VQ very well.
You should send him the TSB and ask him to read it over....
