OK so my accent just failed an e test. to this I say ********.

The idle tests it passed by a mile.
The tests at 40km/h it fialed CO and NO by 2x the limit.
I notice the estimated test weight is at 1361 kg. An accent has a curb weight of 1023 kg. I didn't watch the test but I'm going to increase the air pressure in the tires, make sure the car is hot, change the oil, and put in better gasoline.

But would the mechanic effing up the test weight on the dyno alter the test that much?

Your cat must be on its way out... Change your air filter as well.

Lol I had a hard time passing emissions as well with my honda. Ended up buying a used oem cat for cheap and it worked great, passed everything with flying colours.

was the engine warm when you did the test? it's kinda cold out, make sure you REALLY warm it up. get some 'guaranteed to pass' maybe? I actually don't know about that product, it may be total junk. Your O2 sensor working?

I remember my skyline failing pretty bad and a mix of race gas and methyl hydrate got it to just squeak by. Kind of funny considering the smell that was coming out the back haha

I really want a hatch/ wagon.
Also thinking about something like a used X5, which I like the looks of, but I've heard are very unreliable.
