Default Buying volks in Canada?

Is it worth it to buy volks here, or are the prices in the US better?

I bought here and got raped to the tune of $5635. Check with JRP quickly, then take your shopping to a US based site.

From what I understand JRP has Ontario wrapped up in territory (Maybe other provinces as well not sure) and supplies a lot of other smaller shops to support local area's etc... Your best to go to JRP and cut your best deal IMO unless you know someone in the industry or maybe willing to drive to the states to pick up and save freight?

Im sure there will always be deals out there where people are getting rid of extra inv or trying to meet sales targets or start a new customer base and stuff.

Shopping can be fun. Just not in malls.

USA is deinatly going to be cheeper. (even after you pay the duty fees) also if you buy from the states you can ask them to send as a gift of mark down the value.

Status, Gruppe-S and others have really made it tempting to purchase online.

I have noticed that jrp seems to have matched US pricing, it wont hurt to call in for a quick price check.

You never mentioned what wheels you were looking at

I agree, I've only heard bad news from Derand.

They were the only place in Ottawa I found that could order VOlk Wheels. My wait was like 10 months. They promised 3. My list of complaints is endless. They couldn't even tint my car right. Tell everyone you know, they blow.

bor bor, this was years ago..when the exchange rate was still 1.15...and the size's we're talking about are 19" wheels. What are the specs on those volks? 18x9.5f and 18x10.5 rears? Tire sizes?

I would imagine that 18s are quite abit cheaper than 19s anyways.

Dunno what tires he's going to run, and that's the rim size indeed.

19 over 18 is a 6% increase judging from the japanese website at a 9" width

It wasn't what we ordered... it was when we ordered. The prices are really starting to come down nowadays/

Thats what I wanted to hear. How much were the duties? I have a similar quoted price. I don't think any cdn retailer can touch the US prices as of yet.
