looking for a dealer to buy an imported Z? need feedback!!
I am looking to buy an imported 06ish US 350Z. I have seen a bunch on trader but none meet the criteria I am after. I have found a few dealerships that said they can get one for me if I leave a deposit and give them a list of what I am looking for and wait a few weeks until it arrives.
My question is, have any of you had dealings with any of these dealers. Bought a car, know someone that has or heard good or bad things about them. The quality of their cars and overall trustworthiness of them?
These are the dealers I have been looking at
++blank blank++ -- www.blank blank.com (i guess i was looking at some dealer called ++blank blank++ weird name) edtied by XERMAN2001
Quality Auto Wholesales -- http://www.autowholesalers.com/web/
Canadian auto associates -- http://www.canadianautoassociates.com/
Guelph infinity Nissan -- http://www.guelphinfinitinissan.com/Used.cfm
(they have a bunch of imported ones right now, I am not sure if they can get and exact one for me)
I was also (maybe) considering importing it myself, these dealers in the US said that they would look if I choose that option.

Thanks

let me sum up *blank* in as little words as possible:
nice website, but the most shady dealership you'll ever come across.
more elaborate testimonial:
if you're looking to get ripped off, treated like sh*t, or looking to purchase a car that will break down in 10 days, than *blank* is the dealership for you.

i had a bad experience with *blank* too, but it worked out well cuz i found a better private deal later on.
the sales there basically did not want to sell me a car or something. (i think because i look young?) I went to check out a car there, then afterwards i contacted the sales about getting the car checked out and he was ok with it, he said just give him a call before i show up with my mechanic so he can get it off the show room. fine. then I called in one day (saturday or sunday i believe) took a lot of work to figure out a schedule where my mechanic can go take a look, i call the day before and the sales completely changes the pitch. tells me
1) they don't take the car off the show room on weekends
2) they won't let me look under the hood unless i put down 500$ deposit, and confirm a price before i take a look at what i'm buying. makes no sense at all, then he tells me he won't budge on their list price which is also bs because my friend's dad is in the used car business and told me basically how much i should offer the sales.
after that i was like screw these guys, a few months after ibought my z the secretary from *blank* calls me to see if i'm still interested in a z from them and i told them i bought one already.
terrible experience imo. i searched on the internet for reviews on *blank* and most people have neg from what i've read. it's a hit and miss i guess, but i won't take the chance!
p.s. they had that Z listed for well over a month too so i don't know why he was dicking me around on the sale.

If you are actively looking and need a hookup, shoot me a pm and I will pass on my friends # to you.
I bought last summer from Canadian Auto Associates and was happy with them. I was cautious as I would be from any used dealer, but didn't have any issues at all. I was happy with the price, and the car (o4 ZR) was immaculate with only 8000 miles and I've had no issues. It still had a little warranty left on it, and Nissan Canada honoured it without any issue.

I’ve not been to *blank* or Canadian auto associates. I went to check out Quality Auto Wholesales this past weekend, they SEEMED ok (ha ha)
Has anyone has any dealings with them, or have info?
About *blank*, that place doesn’t sound very good. One of the members on here just recommended them to me last week, Said his brother in-law is the owner and he has helped a few people on here get cars from them.

Bad experience with Quality Auto Wholesales, went there 2 times with my friend, the sales guy don't even look at us when he speak, he kept on typing messages on his phone. and the vehicle they are selling is not exactly what you see in the ad, just be really careful.

Got my 04ZR from Canadianautoassociates last May.
Very happy with it. The Salesman was pretty good to deal with. Price was the best I could find at the time for a car with low klms. These guys hand pic there cars as well from what I am told.
The only issue I have is I could have possibly saved an extra 10% if I waited 4months becasue of the CDN dollar. Not the dealers issue just bad timing I guess. Very expensive summer ~$4G's extra on the car not to mention 10% extra on all the on mods to the car vs what you can get today.
Did you see the Ferarri in the showroom? That would be my dream car, I would just add twin turbos LOL.

Yeah the red Ferrari is really nice! The Manager, Deb, very tall German lady had a good laugh about that car. No one is allowed to touch it or test drive it, so she has no idea how she will ever be able to sell it.
Also, they had around 12 cars in the back with sold signs on them, including mine
Their usual load of cars dont last long.
