$40 for test & tune 1/4 mile drags

we can finally put to rest some questions:
1. can your stock z pull high 13's, low 14's? (according to church)
2. after all his "extra" mods, will dave finally beat me?
3. will hock even go past 3rd gear given the opportunity?

i'm sure there's more, but those are just a few the extended forecast is calling for sunny skies (but who knows what may happen), but is anyone else free and want to go?

 

Damn... I wanted to test my new engine with upboost... But I'll be in Quebec City that weekend for DMCC. I'm pretty sure I will own Hock due to his granny shifting.

 

hrmm $40 for how many hours? Perhaps i can finally learn how to do a race launch haha.

^just a day/night where anybody can go onto the track and run...

 

"test & tune" just means you're not competing against the heads up guys. the $50 "heads up" is if you want to compete against other ppl in your bracket for best R/T, etc.

and yes, it's all day for $40, but after a few hours (and about 8-10 pulls), i already got bored and couldn't do any better.

I was thinking on crusing down with the Guelph boy's if the weather permits.
I also made an inquiry on a track day at Mosport for this Sunday so I will see.

So Rich since you beat me by .2 and my car is heavier I want 2 lengths haha.

I thought I would find a quite road and try a launch.

Nothing but Pitiful. Hell I was at the rev limiter faster than you can say 1.
I guess that`s what I get for never having a fast car before.

 

I'm gonna be there. There is a new class for street cars with no times just a win light, should be fun. My dads running his low 12 second VQ maxima (jime if you know him) so should be interesting. The class is limited to 12.5 or slower cars so if you run faster then that you're out...
