Default does anyone work for a cell phone carrier in Toronto?

I was wondering how the business is up there? I may have an oppertunity to move to Toronto. I currently work for an authorized dealer for tmobile, sprint and alltel. I would like to stay in the same field for another job up there. Is it hard to get a job in the wireless/cell phone field?

any info would be greatly appreciated.

thank
edsel

GA!
I was in marrieta for a good 3 weeks last summer, didnt get a chance to swing by forged though

The mobile communication industry is booming here, so I do not see any reason why you wouldnt be able to find work.

You can try these regional/local sites to see if anything is available for you.

www.workopolis.ca
www.monster.ca
www.torontojobs.ca
www.tojobs.com
www.jobboardtoronto.com

other sitse you may want to try are:

Jobshark
www.kijiji.ca
www.craigslist.ca
www.jobcanada.org
www.mytorontojobs.com

Good luck!

Gas price, real estate, anything, all living expenses is a LOT more expensive than the states. Be prepared.

I know my family wasn't when we moved up here from the States.

-Gas prices are higher then what you would be paying in GA.

-If your going to rent, you have many options. Downtown/Uptown your looking at playing anywhere from $750-$1500 (ie: basement apartment, condo, house)

-You can def find a "fixer-upper" somewhere in or around the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
Take a look at:
http://www.realtor.com/toronto/nbregiona.asp?
http://www.mls.ca/map.aspx?AreaID=6248

Expect to pay at least $350k for a decent sized home.

This pic from the MLS.ca site will give you a decent outline of how toronto is laid out...
http://www.mls.ca/map.aspx?AreaID=6248

To give you an example:
Oakville to Central Toronto is about 45min - 1 hour driving.

Have fun searching!
