I noticed the 350z service manual mentions a block heater, it says for Canadian models only. I guess it gets hella cold up there...

Always the comments from some guy in Texas Florida or California about how it's cold up here.. Yeeesh. Yes it gets cold up here for a few months, ever been to New York City? Toronto is only slightly further north then that so it's about the same.

Yes, mine has the block heater too. All Canadian Z comes with it.

Remember to open up the plug cover and clean the metal contacts once a month. The plug cover doesn't cover it air tight, so water does get inside and can start to corrode the metal contacts over time, especailly during winter driving.

It's all good. Down here in Texas we have this cool feature called air conditioning... it cools off the air a bit so you don't sweat quite as much when it's 100 degrees 5 months of the year

I went thru plenty of extension cords when I lived in ND. Forgot to unplug em until I got down the road and realized I was dragging an extension cord, LOL!
