Default Whats the bar/rod that runs from the front wheel into the front diff?

I had the car up on a lift because I could sense a bit of free play in the wheels (the car had an accident before) and the mech said that the 'torsion rod' seemed to be bent because there was some free play when he rocked the wheel. The wheel moved in a bit so I'm guessing a bent rod or a bad bearing?. However, I don't believe a Z has a torsion rod which is what the mech called it. What is this part? Thanks.

there could be a compress rod(w/ a balljoint) that connects knuckle to the frame,

(54469) ?

I have encounter a couple of them having play on the bushing. You might hear noise when car going over bumps, while balljoints, bearing and tierods are fine.

I would say speak with "edvy", the guy who posted above you... He has alot of experience with our platform.. countless hours of wrench time..

Its to bad that you live in Ottawa .. perhaps some of the local Ott/Hull members could recommend a shop?
