If it truly went down like you say.. That is pure BS.
I seriously hope you nail these bastards to the wall.. If I were in your shoes, I would want their heads..

If you have trouble locating a lawyer, send me a pm and I will ask around my firm for some recommendations.

Good luck man, I hope things work out for you.

I haven't found a lawyer who has any substantial experience with this. If I can get help from you Reality350, I would REALLY appreciate it!

For him to catch me on a radar, he'd have to be stationed.... there's no way he clocked me at any point because he was WAY behind all the traffic, my coworker tells me.
He couldn't even pace me in all the traffic, 4.30 on Warden.

I've been without a car for only 2 days, and my life's been hell! I'm an accountant by profession and have a few clients whos' books I take care of on the side. I work a 9 to 5 job. I live really far from work and I've had to trouble my brother to drop me off to work, and pick me up after work. My wife works in the complete opposite direction.
I had a client who's GST for 1st quarter was due... I couldn't make it to him and I will probably lose him as a client.
The cop got a kick out of getting my car towed, but they don't realize how it can impact someone's life.

Wow I feel bad and i've been there around that area daily at that time. Even if it was bullshiet I don't even know how kasimm can pass 60km/h as it's pretty jammed there. Almost 80% of the time I see it as crawling stop and go traffic and he's right about 3-4 traffic lights before hitting the 407.

North traffic is pretty heavy from warden/steeles to the 407 area as I pass by almost daily when I go to the gym (heading south on warden from 16th to steeles). I say you present the facts on how you're able to travel 120km/h in those conditions at that time or how anyone is able to.

Damn Kasim... sue those ****s... have them write you a letter of apology and read it to you out loud with tears in their eyes.

I only thought we ****s for cops in the U.S., but now I know its international.

GL with your case.

GL with your case.

I tried suing before. Won't work, those bastards have some protection for that according to my lawyer.

The most you can get is an apology in person, you wont get a single cent off them. I wanted to force the cop to apologize publicly, but noooo lawyer says can't do that due to the same protection ********.

Honestly Kasim, I've had my fair share of dealing with ******** cops. I can only say, stick it to man to the end. Those guys absolutely LOVE going on powertrips and doing whatever they want especially with Bill 203 not requiring physical proof... ****

Just don't give up and keep at it. My mistake was that I gave in after taking in too much ********, and ended up getting 5 digit insurance premium and had to sell the Z for that. You don't want to lose your Z do you? I sure miss mine.

Completely agree. Sorry to hear about your situation. From the get-go the stunt driving law gave street cops WAYYY too much power. This just proves that it's now gone straight to their heads.

that is unfortunate. I say rent a car if you need to travel for work. it's expensive but it'll get the job done.

continue to follow up on the complaint as well.

you could rent a car no? even at $80 a day, you're only looking at $560 for the week. i would think that losing one client would be worth around there or more.

This is so messed up. Get a good laywer for sure. I am going to print this off and show it to some officers I know when I get a chance. This is a nightmare for sure.

The law has to much power here and society should not be taking it.
