Which Car Magazine to subscribe: MotorTrend, Road&Track, or others?!?!
Hello Guys,
I am planning to subscribe a car magazine so that I have something to read when I am on my way to work everyday....
So here I'd like to know if ya'll experts have any recomemndations for me....
I am looking for a magazine that has unbiased reviews on all brands and have detailed review/preview of new car models.
I'd say that I am an average car lover and my knowledge about cars are just average (or a lil bit better than average).. so i am not looking for any Ph.D level encylopedia.. jsut somethign fun to read at my spare time..
Also, Import Car magazines is not my cup of tea.. and I am not looking for a pure buying guide since I ain't planning to buy a new car in the foreseeable future.
Your opinions are appreciated.

The magazine widely acknowledged as the best in the world is EVO. They're independent so they don't suck up to manufacturers like corporate magazines. They're also the most focussed on performance cars...and they get the best cars, and often from readers and not the factory. Manufacturers actually suck up to them, Aston called them in to explain themselves when they said the DB9 wasn't up to par and released a 'sport pack' addressing all of EVO's complaints later on and when they tested the 430 Scuderia, Ferrai sent Marc Gene (Formula 1 test driver) and a whole team of technicians to make everything run smooth, lol...they had some amazing tests, one that springs to mind is the '10 greatest driver cars of all time' (regardless of price) test where they asked the readers to vote....and they ended up with the Mclaren F1 and DC2 Integra type R in the same test. They love performance cars of all prices and test them for how well they drive, not how many skidpad G's they pull like american magazines. If they rate a car 5 stars, it's like the most supreme praise you can give...a 350z is five stars for example , but something like a DBS only gets 4 (because its handling isn't quite sorted)

cause you're a good man. On that note, the new 'Performance Car' magazine looks good. It's kind of funny because EVO was born from the ashes of the old 'Performance Car' after it was shut down. It even has the same editors and everything, so who knows where the new 'Performance Car' has come from.
