Track Day?
#2
Event # 1, OZC “Drag N’ Shine” @ St Thomas Dragway, Sparta ON.
<> www.stthomasdragway.com for directions and information.
Hey guys, July 4th is the day. This event is for competitors, spectators and show and shine exhibitors. Trophies will be awarded in all track classes and show classes in Sept, based on points total accumulation from both events.
If you are new to Drag racing, don’t worry, there is plenty of expertise available to get you started. Cars that will run sub 14 second elapsed times will require a currently approved driver’s helmet. If you are a novice, it is very unlikely you will run below 14 seconds E.T.
Gates open approximately 9 AM, cars are teched briefly by track staff for any safety issues, then practice starts by mid-morning. Sat the 4th is a test and tune day at St Thomas Dragway, so there will be every other kind of hot machine in addition to our OZC membership. Eliminations begin in mid-afternoon. This is bracket-racing, which is based on consistent elapsed times, not the quickest E.T.s. Low E.T. and eliminator trophies will be awarded, as well as ‘show and shine’. Track activity stops at about 4:30 and resumes for the evening session at 6:30. You are welcome to stay late, although the session costs $20 per competition car and $10 to spectate or crew. Admission for the 9 AM to 4:30 Session is $10 to spectate/crew/show your car and $30 to compete on the track.
After 4:30, we will head down to GT’s bar and restaurant on the beach in scenic Port Stanley on Lake Erie. “Z” you there,

I will be leaving burligton at 9.15.
Just finished installing the 4.08 diff in the 370. It is very very fast!
I took the the car to burligton nissan to se if they could bump the timing and lean it out but they could not get into the ecu program. They did there best. Great effort on there part.
I took a sales guy for a ride test drive with just the stillen intake on and he was shocked how well it ran and the sound of the car. After that i had the diff installed at my local garage and tested the car on some back industrial roads. The difference is night and day, the tires spin between 1 and 2 gear changes. The 7 AT shifts really hard in the tiptronic mode. Can not wait till my stillen exhaust gets here with the berk cats and the underdrive stillen pulleys.
See you guys at St Thomas .
