Default any locals with the vortech kit?

just seeing if anyone around here has the vortech SC on there car and to hear there thoughts... maybe nice enough to meet up to take me for a spin before i decide if i want to go that route.

Phaenem or I think that's how you spell had one... But he disappeared.

I did get to ride in his car a couple years ago. 410whp and smoking the 275's KDW's is certainly fun.

I think it's a cheaper and better route than going TT because after sitting in the Vortech and the APS TT, there's not that much difference in butt dyno.

What does that kit cost around? Cuz I was looking at an aps twin turbo kit for $7,000
but everyone is twin turbo. Super chargers are unique on Z's

^^ TTs are faster.

I know someone with the vortech kit but his car isn't running right now.

go see (jacky ngai) on this forum, he is one of the owner in tire23 in mississauga. and he does have a SC ready in his car

SC - 400whp on stock block
TT - 450-500whp on stock block

Take your pick. TT is faster, but not marginally. I'd be happy with the traction issues of a SC already. Oh and half the price of TT. Most TT guys go built block anyways. SC are mostly stock block.

I'm looking to go with a Vortech SC as well -

If you ever want to upgrade and build your block, go TT right away. Much more potential.

I did the APS TT on my car 5 years ago and I certainly don't regret it.

i dont plan on dumping the amount of money needed to to a complete build... if i can get a SC to around the 350-380 mark for close to half the money then i am happy

save a lil more money and get a powerlab single. just as easy to install as the vortech but way more trq
