1. Make sure you're not going to have to pay duties when they arrive at your door, many companies insure that when shipping to Canada you don't get hit with an annoying and potentially large fee as part of the declared package value

2. Mounting/balancing fees. no more than 60$ for all 4 tires, I would say.

kdw2s good tire for the $ value. Consider the hankook ventus V12... I think they're considerably more responsive, great in wet weather and don't get loud as **** halfway through.

Yeah the pricing does sound good... but beware the customs and duties do really add up on the declared amount. I've ordered many parts from the US and they will likely ding you $150-200 on top of the price due to the $800 value of the wheels

The nice thing about tirerack is you can now see the brokerage/taxes that you'll be paying up front. They're doing it right.

Also, check out TalonTire.com out of Quebec. I've gotten four sets of tires from them - very pleased with the service and the price.

Also check with Discountire, I ordered the Hankook V12 from them.
The price is cheaper than Tirerack and dont have to pay any brokerage etc.
Got it within 5 days

I have ordered from Tirerack twice now and their pricing does include all fees, duties and taxes, no surprises. This past fall I received my wheels and tires in 3 days! Installing and balancing low profile tires can be more expensive but you shouldn't have to pay more than $20 wheel.

I was looking for KDW2s 2 weeks ago. I looked all over. Online from TireRack, 1010 Tires and also local like Costco and tires shops in the city. The highest price I was quoted (Costco) was almost $1300 includes mounting, balancing and tax. This was for 2 x 225/45/18 and 2 x 245/45/18. From TireRack the price was approx. $930 which includes shipping, tax, duties etc. but does not include mounting and balancing. Then I checked out Tires23 in Mississauga. They quoted me $1000 bottom line EVERYTHING included (mounting, balancing, disposal and tax). I ended up getting my new tires at Tires23 and going with Falken FK452s instead as they were readily available at the time and was a little cheaper at $900.

Cheers,
CB
