Default Work vs-xx

Hey guys i know its been discussed before tires sizes offsets etc and i did some searching if they would cause problems with VDC/TCS what i found was front should be min .5" smaller diameter then the back

anyways i plan on getting some work vsxx (gold) at a price of 2500$

specs are

9.5x19 +24 front 265/35/19 T1-R
10.5x19 +31 rear 275/35/19 T1-R

about 50% tread left

anyways any input/comments on this setup would be appreciated

(anyone have any pics of em on a roadster? all i found were coupes)

265/35 is a pretty beefy tire for the front. Mind you i'm running 255/35/19 in front. Your steering will feel quite heavy.

Rear offset is pretty weak imo, the best fitting (though requiring abit of fender rolling) is 10.5 +12, and you're quite a ways from that.

Price is right though.

bad offsets = tiny lip, so even if you get spacers it won't look as good as it should.

Does this +31 offset though allow you to put a wider tire on because its pushed a little to the inside?

I know i would like to have a wider tire and might be willing to sacrafice the lip.

Yes you should be able to fit a wider tire with higher offsets

Thats what i thought. So my wheels are +22 and I have 285's that push about as close as you would like to be with the fender roll. (19x35/285 RE050A these have a wide foot print to begin with not all 285's or tires are the same.)

If I had the +31 I should be able to add 20mm in over all width so 305's right? Thats 40mm extra grip total for wheels.

+31's is not so bad if you want grip and the z needs it.

are you runnin 10.5" rims in the back?

what im wondering is if 305 is too wide for a 10.5 rim? if you're running 11 or 12" in the back then it'll be worth while to run the 305's

305's are good from 10.5-11.5 per Bridgstone site and I am pretty sure all tires.

You need to drop to 30 side wall though vs 35

here are a few pic of the rims, anyone can do a quick photoshop? i dont have it here at work.

the lip is still fairly beefy in the back, hmm maybe ill see if hell let me mount one side see what its gonna look like cause my main concern is the rear offset too :/ based solely on what i have read/seen on this forum.

thanks for the input/critisism though keep it comming

20mm if you want to run some mad camber then you lose out on the reason why you went 305's to begin with. if you want 305's and want to run -1.5 or less camber then i wouldnt do more than a 10mm spacer.

OP If you dont plan on lowering your car too much then those offsets wouldnt be to bad.

I sure as hell would want a bigger lip then that though
