Kels At Mosport
Hey Guys,
Just thought I'd share some of the ripping we did at Mosport on Monday. The car's previous best, in ideal conditions (8-9deg Celcius, morning) was a 1.28.500 last year. With the high compression engine (10 more hp, higher rev limit), solid rear subframe and 5yr old 18" slicks I did a 1.27.100 on the only clean lap of the day (it was a Kensai lapping day).
The car sounded ridiculously badass at 7600rpm up the back straight, and the grip with the slicks was astounding, imagine when they are new!
To put in perspective how fast a 1:27 is, Speed World Challenge GT cars with ridiculous wide body and 500+ HP do 1:23s.
With any luck some more HP from a finalized intake and new slicks, along with some more downforce we should be in the 1:25s.
Hopefully I'll have some more time to keep working on Kels and not just these Hyundai's, it feels so good to be going so fast! I've got some video I'll get up as soon as I can, the car sounds soooooo good ahh
We'll do our best to keep everyone updated, and don't forget where to come if you want to go fast

Looks like a blast, I can only imagine her screaming up the straight and the noise bouncing of the concrete walls in turn 1 and 5b mhhh!
We know you have been busy winning and all (congrats again!) but when do we get to see the video of Kel's ripping?! =D
That white 350 must just have been plastered with rubber marks by the end of the day since it's so low and well, white. Great looking Z though and it makes me happy to see it at the track!
