Would it be bad if I put lowering springs only in the rear of my Z? My front is low as it is and I do not want to go any lower....

I would think yes its bad. If the car is not balanced it will handle like crap.

Get coil overs and be done.

Or just trim the rear spring mount to adjust the height a little in the rear.

i was thinking the same thing, just lowering the back. But once i got the springs, right height was even better in the front . and agree that the car will not be balanced, rear is going to be stiffer then front..

^+1 that could work well. You mean cut a bit of the upper rubber mount right?

Nope, you keep the original spring, just remove some of the cone mount.

Your ride quality remains the same.

a lot of guys have put lambo doors on their z....doesn't mean its a good idea. the car will not have balanced handling if the spring rates are very different front and rear.

Dude read the DIY... All your doing is cutting a little off the rubber mount/isolator..... Not cutting the spring.

oh you're talking about the rear spring mount mod. I thought BASHAZ was still considering getting lowering springs for the rear. Yeah, go for cutting the rear mount. Ed@aph had done that before I think.
