Default exhaust sound

well i did full piping from headers back to a single exhaust... I have concerns with the exhaust b/c it doesnt sound like the vq.... i have a straight pipe bck no silencer so it is really loud... it doesnt sound bad... but it doesnt sound like the vq... is this normal or should i take it o another shop to see if they can fix it.... my friend with another z has only cat back but he managed to still have that trade mark sound of the vq... is this only because he has catback and nothing else??

if you mean that howl isnt there anymore thats pretty common. I heard a couple of z's with modded exhaust and they just sound beastly.

Anyway - to the OP - post some pics of the system, installed, as to not turn this into a 'guess what I have and how it's built, and please help me fix it' thread....
