Well, another winter has come and it's been about a year and a half since I bought my Brickyard Z. I live in Halifax and flew to Toronto and bought it from "350zjim". I love the car and couldn't be happier with my purchase.

That being said, I was however getting bored of the stock(ish) power. When I bought the car it had DCsports headers, aam spacer, UR flywheel, JWT pop charger and an aam reflashed ecu. for power adders. Had hotchkis springs, koni yellow shocks, hotchkis sways, front and rear gt spec braces and a set of Axis matrix wheels for suspension mods. This is how I drove the car for a little over a month before I put it away for it's first winter.

Over that winter I ditched the wheels, suspension. I went for SMA coilovers, and a set of varrstoen wheels. Also bought some powergrid endlinks, and front and rear camber arms. Ditched the pop charger in favor of Nismo Cai, Also got a Nismo cat back and some Stillen HFC's. The car dyno'd 244whp and 227wtq. And looked like this...



So now for the changes to the car over this winter.
I have bought.
Vortech supercharger
Turbo xs utec
TXS wideband tuner
GTM 2.87 pulley
GTM idler pulley
Competition stg 5 clutch
AEM meth kit
AAM stg 1 fuel setup with rails.
DW 600cc injectors.
Walbro 255
19x10 +22 Enkei rpf1's with pirelli pzero 350/30 and 255/35 tires.

I pulled the engine out of the car to clean the bay/engine and do a wire tuck to the body harness and the engine harness.
Also I removed the stock oil warmer and all lines including to the TB, as well as ditched AC and all the lines for it as well.

Currently I'm waiting on the clutch so I can put the engine and tranny back in. I may start installing the fuel setup while I wait over the next week or so.

Nice work man. You should ditch those Stillen HFC's for TP's like I did. What clutch/fly are you going to use and whats the whp est 425 or so?

*edit Oops I didnt see your using the Comp stg 5 clutch...

RPF1's are definitely better wheels, but the black and brickyard color combo is the way to go in my opinion.

 

gotta love winter builds, but even out here in AZ i would have a bunch of space heaters plugged in

performance wise, the rpf1s probably weigh much less - PC them black!

I also agree with people about the wheels looking better black, I didn't make the switch for looks though. I needed better offsets so I could fit the 305's in the rear and keep camber as close to spec as possible. I have considered painting them black though haha, I just figured I'd give silver a chance

"4DGS" The body harness is SO easy once you have the fenders off. It's just a matter of routing the harness out through the hole's that are already there into the inner fender area. I didn't even have to extend any wires.

"Wu-Watt" You ended up going with the ART pipes didn't you?? I had been thinking about getting TP's over the HFC's but couldn't make up my mind. I would like to get anywhere between 410whp and 450whp. I can't wait

I don't have any real big updates, I've been pretty busy with work. However Today I ran my fuel return line and installed the walbro pump. Did a little more cleaning in the engine bay. Drilled and tapped the SC bracket for the extra GTM idler pulley and installed that.

I'm just waiting on my clutch to show up so I can put the engine and tranny back together and then back into the car.

Also picked up a set of RC 750cc for a great price instead of the 600's.

Okay, so I've been slacking with up dates...
I have however been busy.

Have the engine back in and the wire tuck pretty much done. This weekend I'll be reassembling most things and getting it looking like a car again
